The nightlife on a certain planet in Universe 3 was as lively as ever, and Hearts was making the most of it.

Fu’s possessiveness over the things that he considers ‘his’. Growing up, Dabura raised him in an environment that punished him by having his things taken away if he disobeyed. Coupled with his lessons in not valuing ‘inconsequential’ things like people, he grew to cling onto the objects and baubles that he had and began to react violently to anyone that threatened to take away or otherwise mess with his things. He’s been working on his clinginess and possessiveness the more he interacts with people and lets them into his home, but rest assured— if someone were to trespass into his home and start touching his things without his permission, he’d be ornery at best.

Following up from the above point- Dabura raised Fu to embrace his anger and channel that energy into destructive tendencies... for better or worse. At its worst, Fu will find himself rebuilding or scavenging machines and other doodads in the remains of the room he demolished and/or incinerated. Nowadays, he’s been working more on handling his anger from the positive influences in his life, though it doesn’t stop the occasional table flip or hole in the wall from happening.

“Your... garden?”

It was an interesting change of subject, to say the least. There was both a lack of familiarity on his face thoroughly mixed with a small amount of surprise at the question. He certainly hadn’t thought the kai’s garden had been suffering recently, but perhaps he hadn’t been paying enough attention to catch the decay as the other had.

“I’m no expert on the matter, but I will say that if you want it to recover and thrive, giving up’s the last thing you should do. It’d be easy to give up and try again with a new garden, but you’ve put plenty of time and effort into it, right? It’d be a shame to see you just toss all that work away.”

He’d look around momentarily, as if trying to spot the supposed problem with the garden from his current position, but it was to no avail as his attention return to the other.

   “Oh, y’know! I was just in the neighborhood; just around--”

   He briefly squints, tossing a glance skyward. “You know, though, now that I ask, and now that you mention it, I don’t remember if I ever lost any baby teeth... I mean, I’ve lost a lot of teeth! --They just don’t stop growing back! You know?” And he chuckles, like it’s the most normal thing to talk about.

   “Follow-up question! Any fun stories about how you lost those teeth?

"It's more or less impossible to try to gauge what others want from you --- because truthfully, they more often than not want everything.

They want you to be their caretaker, or their moral authority, or their paragon of justice, or a thousand other things that you'll never realistically be, all at once.

All you can do is be you. You can only try your hardest to be the kind of Supreme Kai that you would like to be. The kind of Supreme Kai that you would want to believe in, if you, yourself, were mortal.

a beautiful and kind and loving Supreme Kai who isn’t elitist or stuck-up or detached??? they’re ashamed to admit that back when they were of a more spoiled nature themself under Kuru’s guidance, they wouldn’t’ve appreciated him nearly as much as they do now. he’s what they wish they could be!
