i uhhh im sure theres plenty of mistakes or just general things i wanna change with him, in which case.. ill either make a new post or just edit this one and pretend he always looked perfect..

BUT HE FINALLY he finally has a rendered form... and a bio LOL umm um i'll either do more drawings of him or more writing for him, so be on the lookout for that...

so theres this issue with... veganism, lets say. or meat allergies.. something along those lines.

allegedly were starving all the time. and tbh i get pretty damn hungry too. but its not because im a vegan — its because nobody can account for that.

like, seriously. go into ANY restaurant and find me ONE menu item that DOESNT have animal products in it. ONE. drinks dont count.

and neither does the vegan menu, most of the time.. its always tofu and- ok first off i cant have tofu either. ik, staple for every single vegan on this godforsaken earth, but.. i just. i really cant have that. but even then.. it still does bother me that people only see tofu as meat for vegans. yk? its its own thing!! a beautiful staple food that can be made into so many things!! miso soup is only one of MILLIONS of food items even i dont quite know yet!! but.. no, just meat for losers who DARE to not have meat, i guess.

i do wish more people understood that meat isnt that vital, either. theres so many soups and meals and all sorts of dishes that are unique in their own way, that dont have any animals products, but all the nutrients you need, but nobody ever talks about those. its about conformity, normalcy, dont be weird, do what the meat eaters find fun, not what you find fun. even if your attempts at recreating their favorite foods just pales in comparison. you have to do it anyway. because thats the only way. instead of just.. letting you be free, figure out your own recipes. or take inspo from others, even. just, ANYTHING that isnt reliant on the concept of meat or dairy or egg being important in culture. but.. eugh.

hell.. sometimes even in fiction, which SHOULD be a safe space. this character has an allergy. so i see everyone make excuses — maybe the allergy doesnt actually affect them. maybe they were bitten by a lone star tick, they just need time, their allergy will go away soon enough. or, again, the tofu, but they always draw the tofu PERFECTLY and PRECISELY meat shaped and colored like hmm hmm thats odd isnt it. anyway.. for one thing, they try to avoid the whole vegan thing, which makes us that are vegan due to allergies feel like crap. also doesnt help deconstruct the notion that veganism is only for those with allergies! theres so many reasons to become vegan! in fact i greatly encourage it!

but.. its bad, apparently. because again, culture is so SO meat centric.

sometimes ill go to a restaurant with a sign "we support vegans!" guess what their menus are full of? meat, tofu that tastes like meat, maybe on RARE occasion the tofu is its own thing, but i never see anything other than meat and tofu. its so.. isolating.

again.. its not because im vegan. its because nobody likes us. nobody cares enough to make things easier for us. nobody listens.

it hurts my heart to know how many people with allergies just keep eating meat anyway because theyre hungry..

um. i think there was another thing i was gonna add. but. i forget.

uhh.. ill just.. leave the uhh.. veganism pride flag down here..

NO. THIS MORNING I WOKE UP AND THERE WAS A BUG.

I'm just laying in bed, preparing for the day, AND Y'KNOW WHAT I SEE? A freakin huge bug doing a circle around my canopy. Like a vulture.

So obviously I grab my shit and run, and once I'm out and can properly see it? ITS THIS MASSIVE ROACH(?)

Anyways, I cried, someone took care of it for me, then I took a shower.
