GOOD AFTERNOON, LIKERS!!!

Well...I needed a break.

Unless you been under a rock, the world has turned upside down. Or as I liked to joke about...the zombie apocalypse. There was a global outbreak of the coronavirus. And how it has been handled has been from terrible to efficient to just plain sad. I've seen it all over the internet. It has been all over the television. It was definitely out in the world by word of mouth. People are scared here in the U.S. and the main leaders were not helping their case. 

I've tried to keep a stiff upper lip. I've tried to be the Xander Harris for everyone in my Scooby gang. But inside...I could tell I was nervous and worried. It has also been frustrating. Funny how a virus could touch your whole entire life. I've seen my professional life affected, one job less while the other job is essential enough...for now. I've seen my personal life affected, given for me it started before St. Patrick's weekend and I was looking forward to fun and also it was going to be a push for me on my path to self discovery, a path that I have been on the past year and it was time to 'level up.' One thing I could say about having to spend the majority of your time indoors was that you are given more time to THINK...something I already do. Part of my push was to not find myself stuck in place. This virus basically has me doing just that. So yeah...I got a bit depressed.

But...like I said a few days ago, the show must go on. Yesterday, I allowed myself to feel the sadness of this whole situation. Just kept to myself. Slept a lot. Didn't even exercise. But if I was going to make it through I knew I had to get back to work. Keep my mind busy. And for me, that was doing writer stuff. DARKENED SOUL: WITCH'S ABYSS was still on sale this weekend for 99 cents, a great short read if you were stuck at the house right now...and think you can figure out the murderer in the story. I finally posted a new blog. Meanwhile, this unofficial timeout already has me thinking of the next blog which will be another personal one. But I promise...dad bod mentions will be kept to a minimum. Also I had to push back DARKENED TABULA due to this, but I realized that I could still go over some of the formatting. So since I always do three sweeps, no harm in going ahead and doing the first. LOL!!! At this point, the book will be completely done by the time this virus outbreak was over. In fact, who knew how many books I would have done at this rate. 

I was still working on my end of month surprise. But with all the writing things I got going on, that was not a surprise. So expect more teasers? ;)

Speaking of which...you could expect a teaser...later today. Hint, hint. So...how are the rest of you dealing with the zombie apocalypse?
