NOW...about #editing that synopsis 4 my forthcoming novel...

GOOD MORNING, LIKERS!!! Now that I can move...cuz lord...that heat! lol. After some days of a nice cold breeze here in #sandiego, I am actually shocked at how quick it has turned into a humid place. IN fact, I planned to do this yesterday, but that heat...WOOF.

#Pride has descended on San Diego. And so far...it's been nice from what little I've seen of it. I personally cannot wait for the parade. But that was more for the weekend. Right now, I needed to get my mind on the writing.

The end of last week was rough. Sadly it impacted my clipboard. And that disappointed me.

But let's get into how THIS week is looking. Time for EDITING, TYPING, AND WRITING.

EDITING. Well, the big project has already gotten off to a good start. While the end of the week was less editing than I would have liked, the week had been #designed to shift over to typing. Still good start.

My focus, besides for good #editing, was going to be setting deadlines. More importantly, hitting them. I have big plans for what I'm working on. I hope to make it.

Speaking of editing, I still have my #synopsis to edit on for my WiP.

TYPING. Awww the typing.

Scarily easy. I can sit and type just about anywhere. I planned to shift from editing to typing last week. And that part actually worked. So yay for that. I just did not expect to have to deal with a lot of...CRAP outside of my control.

This week has given me the one thing that I wanted: #time. Now typing in a room that can't beat the heat on the other hand? Meh.

Speaking of deadline...it was one that I missed sadly. However, I have kept going. And that will be the focus for this week.

WRITING. Nothing to see here. Move along. Hehe.

Euphoria. And I don't mean the show. hehe.

I mean #madonna.

Like I said on my Twitter, outside of the year I met my favorite ex or the one with the Wiggle Booty (silly story), this #4thofJuly has been the best one ever cuz that new album was EVERYTHING. It took me back to different times. Back when a lot of artists knew how to do a rollout. And back when a Young Me would be anticipating a new release and go and get it. And of course...A LOT of #dancing. Which...I actually got to do. Among other things. Even now the comedown from the euphoric feeling has been something else, reminding me of those days after a weekend of raving. But...life goes on. Still...I will cherish the memories that came from this week.

Another thing that has been going on has been a return to all things Darkenverse for me. If you have missed it, I've been reposting #shortstories around my characters Nicholas and Georgia who are in several of my Darkenverse books. As for how the week is looking. Well...let's talk about it. It's time for EDITING, TYPING, AND WRITING.

EDITING. Can I do it?

That has been the question on my mind. There's a big editing project that I've been working on. Besides, DARKENED SOUL: THE BREAKING OF CIRCLES. I know, I know. It's hard enough to be focused on one big project, but TWO??? Still it was time to get back to it so here I was.

I also had some editing to do over the #synopsis that I've been working on for THE BREAKING OF CIRCLES. Not to mention the WiP I've been working on.

Busy, busy. But focused.

TYPING. While editing was going to be the main goal this week, I expected that I'll be shifting to typing as the #weekend grew closer. I still had chapters to type up on my WiP. And I was going to get the wiggle room for that later on in the week.

And speaking of typing...well, it feels like it's that time again. I had mentioned last week, that I was thinking of a #blog. Well...more like an elusive one. lol. But let's see what squeezes out of me.

WRITING. Nothing to see here. Move along. lol.

Status report: So...miss me?

That was the question that my Nosferatu have been asking me. And the answer? A little bit. LOL. Okay, I will say yes.

But you as #readers, how are you enjoying the reposting of the first Nicholas story. Nicholas was such an interesting character in my DARKENED series (DARKENED SOUL, DARKCHILDE, DARKENED TABULA) that he just popped up in other places. And it continues to give me story ideas. I hope soon on that reposting.

Meanwhile, research continues for DARKENED SOUL: THE BREAKING OF CIRCLES...my next #shortstory collection. This time it focuses on the friendship between Titania, Antonio, and Fredrick...all of whom are in DARKCHILDE as well as DARKENED SOUL: PIECES OF A DARKENED PUZZLE. It also gives the skinny on Jacob who appeared in DARKENED TABULA. BUuuut Jacob also has a little cameo in...you guess it...DARKENED SOUL: PIECES OF A DARKENED PUZZLE. I'm also very glad that I have a synopsis to work from.

#mercuryretrograde was back again. Guard your loins!!! So far, I've lost a microwave, a phone plan, and feel extremely slow even after a good amount of sleep.

But the show must go on. But how was the show looking? Well, let's talk about it?

It's time for EDITING, TYPING, AND WRITING.

EDITING. Well, I finished it. Well by finishing it, I meant the Darkenverse project that I was working on. A small one.

But that was to make room for a BIGGER one. That lovely wiggle room. But with me finishing up typing up my WiP and still doing #research for DARKENED SOUL: THE BREAKING OF CIRCLES, I had something else calling to my attention.

Not to mention I was still #editing the synopsis for THE BREAKING OF CIRCLES.

TYPING. I feel I'm going to go for it.

Am I tired? Well yes. #lol. That's okay though...like Brandon Taylor wrote in his latest novel (that I'm currently #reading) MINOR BLACK FIGURES...there's work work. Then there's REAL work.

AKA It's time for EDITING, TYPING, AND WRITING.

EDITING. Outside of my research time...good start so far.

The highlight so far...has been the re-posting of the first part of my Nicholas story...and working on a synopsis for DARKENED SOUL: THE BREAKING OF CIRCLES. I couldn't believe it, but it was happening. I was back in the world of my #nosferatu, and it's been great.

This week would find me working on editing my synopsis as well as editing on some other Darkenverse-related stuff. Aka...COMING SOON...

TYPING. But my world has not been completely all about what was going on in my little #dystopian world of Nosferatu, witches, and the like. I was still making time for the WiP that I recently finished. It was just typing up the chapters for now, but it kept it in my mind.

Meanwhile the #seed for another writing blog popped into my head. Not surprising since it's been long overdue at my blog space. If so...I might idle with it this coming weekend. I wanted to keep the focus on my Darkenverse and my WiP for now.

WRITING. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Well, I already knew it was going to be a busy work week. So in a way, I can't say that I can really go #ugh. lol.

What I have noticed has been the #balance. I have been still getting #writer related stuff done. So for that, I've been #grateful and in awe. Yes, slow and steady really does work. hehe. But I'll talk more about that tomorrow.

That's my way of saying that EDITING, TYPING, AND WRITING will not be today. I know, awww. There's a lot going on. And I can't wait to talk about it.

WRITING UPDATE: Well...here we are, Darkenverse.

It has been a minute. I've been working on other novels. Trying different things. But the goal was to always loop back around to my lovely Darkenverse.

DARKENED TABULA was published in 2020. And there is still one book left in my DARKENED book series. There were also other #novels that I had planned within the Darkenverse. And of course...I have short stories, too.

I do look forward to being around in my world of #nosferatu though. It really has been way too long.
