These vegan tofu hot wings are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional chicken wings. They are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and smothered in spicy buffalo sauce. Perfect for game days or as a party appetizer!
Ingredients: 1 block extra firm tofu, pressed and drained. 1/2 cup buffalo sauce. 1/4 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking spray or oil for greasing.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 400F 200C. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes. In a shallow dish, mix the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour almond milk into another shallow dish. Dip each tofu cube into the almond milk, then dredge it in the flour mixture, ensuring it's evenly coated. Place the coated tofu cubes on a greased baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown. Once baked, transfer the tofu cubes to a mixing bowl. Pour buffalo sauce over the tofu cubes and toss until evenly coated. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce and celery sticks. Enjoy your vegan hot wings!
