I've been saying his assassination attempt was bull shit! Think about it, no one knows the shooter's name! He would have been more infamous than Luigi Mangione!!

Okunoin Cemetery by jon_wooden.
I've done well in life, but at the same time I constantly wanted to end my life at every waking moment for over 20 years. It was this deeply awful feeling that I associated with dukkha (dissapointment), as I am a Buddhist, and accepted it as a natural aspect of Samsara that one should adapt to. That was a coping mechanism that kept me going into my 30's until I realized it was gender dysphoria. After three months on estrogen, Samsara is much more beautiful and cheerful than I remember it previously.
Maybe Nirvana is no longer needed, as the world isn't constant suffering for me anymore. Maybe this will make Nirvana easier. Maybe this is Nirvana. Or maybe I'm still in bardo between my male life and my female life, so it's impossible to judge. In any case, I'd best stop asking such silly questions and enjoy life. And I find that much easier now!
Cheers from a Tibetan Buddhist trans girl.
