hi with the rat ish video, I could be wrong, but the last time I checked the soap was not good for it and the behaviours it's doing are the rodents way of attempting very hard to get the toxin from it's skin. but I could be wrong.
I just read up on the actual situation. Its actually a pacarana and it’s movements are the normal way they groom themselves, but it probably didn’t like the feeling of the soap in it’s fur and was trying to remove it. Some articles claimed the original poster said it was animal safe shampoo but I couldn’t find proof. I don’t think the soap was toxic to its skin or anything- I mean they wash oil covered birds with dawn dish soap, but I think it was probably not very much fun for the little guy. I hope he didn’t get soap in his eyes.
