6: Is there anything that you do to make switching easier?
i wish! being in a quiet place alone usually helps a lot - we get anxious about people judging the way we switch, or about not being able to switch on an instant and instead needing a little time, so sometimes just shutting ourselves in the bathroom can ease the way. the usual music/things they like/etc is always worth a go too, but usually either it happens or it doesnt happen.

sadly no - we don’t really talk that often to one another and certainly not as an entire system

ummmm
1. serpent is the closest we have to a vegetarian - he prefers fruit and salad to anything else, although he’ll sometimes eat meat depending on the circumstance.
2. we’re growing our hair out because people with long hair (or who want long hair) here outnumber people with short hair and tend to be more regular fronters (people with long hair: me, serpent, james sometimes, ethan)
3. i, the host, hate beer but we have two beer drinkers (james and ethan) who will drink it at front. i also hate wine and my hatred for wine is more overpowering than my hatred for beer so no one can drink it at front except in very limited circumstances when i’m either super far from front or they’re just super Keen on getting wine down their gob (looks at dorian)

Sort of? I (Jax the Host) end up being in charge of all the major decisions, but the others do give me their opinions when applicable !

Switching is hard so we don’t actually have any kind of schedule! That’d be neat though,

💋: are any of your headmates dating?Not at present, but we’ve had a few in-system couples in the past. most recent was probably me and Dorian, but that didn’t last long as we realised we work waaay better as platonic buddies hahah.
honestly we wish we had more in-system couples as they seem much less complicated than out-system couples.

james: AMUURRICAN HOT DOGS, popcorn, he once had a pear tart from an independent cafe in london and thought it was the best pear tart in the world so probably that as well
e.c.: beef jerky and ribs, anything really meaty
serpent: i think he likes cake, and fruit and salad, just not sure what type specifically
charles: tea doesn’t count because it’s a drink, but i think he quite likes yorkshire puds and typical fare like that?

👹: how many non-human members are there?depends how you define human, but only one person identifies as non human: serpent. we’re boring like that
👠: how difficult is it for y'all to agree on one cohesive outfit?honestly, because we don’t co-front that often it usually is whoever is in front at the time dresses us, so there’s not much actual arguing. when there are two or more people, uh… usually it’s not that difficult, i guess compromises can be made fairly easily? (boring answer, sorry)
💥: how much in-system fighting is there?there used to be a lot. these days we try to keep it to a low-down and have a general unspoken rule of don’t pick fights with each other, but there are definitely people who don’t get on. james and i fought a lot when he first arrived, and him and dorian have got into a few tussles but not for a while now.
🌆: what does your headspace look like?it’s incredibly boring. it’s a replica of the house i grew up in during my teenage years. it’s three floors and although the real life version has a yard, no one can go into it in the headspace. an old member, victor, brought a fourth floor with him that resembled the attic/loft he did his work in, and that lingered for a while after he left but i’m not sure it’s there any longer. a lot of the furniture is different from the real life version and it’s changed over the years, and sometimes rooms disappear temporarily or reappear or change function, or get slightly bigger or slightly smaller, but the basic structure stays the same.
😱: do your headmates have any phobias?the body has a blood/injury phobia it’s had for years and although it affects me the strongest, it affects everyone to some extent. Blood tests and things like that are usually shuffled around to people willing to take them.
James has a lot of triggers from his PTSD, if those count. otherwise i don’t really know that we have any phobias per se? oh, wait- dorian is scared of flying and being in a fast moving car, because Victorian.
🕸: what’s your oldest memory of being a system?we started off as a soulbonder (me) with soulbonds, about 11 years ago, so the earliest memory is actually when I was around 13 and decided to ‘become a soulbonder’. my first soulbond was a werecat OC of mine named… Dimitrius? yeah, I think that’s right. I picked him because I liked him as a character, and sat there (probably at my computer) trying to reach out to him. the rest is history I suppose
💬: free space! tell one cool fact about your systemeveryone retains their old life “powers” in the headspace, so they can all do cool shit in there, with a few rare exceptions. it’s pretty cool to watch but it’s why the no fighting rule is even more important, haha
