I wasn’t sending all these asks to 'kiss everyone’s arse' or to get their attention - I was sending them because I’m an extremely shy person and I usually never manage to hold a conversation up to more than a couple of messages because my anxiety is getting in the way (there are literally just two people where I managed to somehow keep in touch—). So most of the time I don’t even try to interact with anyone on here and prefer to admire them from safe distance. I might like attention (I mean- who doesn’t?) but not in the way that you might think, anon.

Basically I just wanted to let them all know how I feel about them and their content and what it means to me that I found them through this page, hoping to maybe even brighten up their day at least a tiny little bit. That’s all I wanted. I didn’t even expect an answer and I didn’t want anyone to feel obligated to answer me- which is why I literally wrote in every ask that it’s fine to ignore the ask, in case anyone might be more comfortable with that and so they don’t have to think about what they could answer to that.
