Who is ready for a burger & beer while you watch the game tonight? Okay. Truth time. I don't watch football!😱 Happy Monday to all. This weekend I was shooting a bunch of different beer shots, & while I was taking photographs I started thinking that the picture of beer was missing something. Like a burger, perhaps? So I decided to do something unimaginable. I created a composite image. 🤣 Wait, me do that? 🤣😂 Actually, this one was tougher than you might think. That's because the setup for the burger & the beer were done with completely different lighting setups. Back in May when I shot the burger, I hadn't even started using flash yet! So, trying to composite an image while trying to make the burger not look fake was definitely difficult. I had to do a lot of manipulation to the shadows & highlights to try & fake similar lighting. #BTSphotoshoot is for the new setup only. I do not have #btsimages for the burger shoot. This is pic 1. Pic 2, 3, & 4 is the beer image & BTS. Pic 5 is the burger image. This way you can see how I put it all together. Both images shot with my Canon EOS 80D with my 50mm lens. The burger was shot with continuous light at ISO 200, f5.0, & shutter 1/4. The beer shot was at ISO 100, f8.0, Shutter 1/200 with 3 flashes. The flash from behind had a modifier on it to create the circular spotlight. It was set to 1/128 +.3 at 28mm zoom. For the side flashes, both set to 105mm zoom. The right flash was set to 1/8 +.3. The one on the left was 1/4. Being a bigger chested girl, holsters and neck straps were always the WORST for shooting. I switched to a @spiderholster and I have NEVER looked back—and after letting these two try out my Spider Holster system, I’ve converted them to Spider enthusiasts as well! Kitty snack while @bockerphotography changes the lighting set up. A selfie from my amazing Catwoman group shoot the other night at @synergyphotographystudio. My gorgeous makeup by the talanted @creative_makeup_by_saskia and lighting by the lovely @bockerphotography. Playing the role of Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman from Batman Returns I love this character and the attitude she carries. We had a little bird prop for the scene where she feels a bit hungry. Haha I couldn't resist taking a selfie like this. Thank you to all the photographers who attended making it a fully booked group shoot and even though it was blowing a gale outside everyone turned up. So thank you.
