Prompt: Christmas is near and somebody ate all the freshly baked cookies. Who did it?
Splinter:Okay. Who ate them?
The rat mutant look down sternly at his adopted childern all line up in a row not looking at him and seem to like the floor alot.
Jaune:.... Dad it might help, but I saw Cinder in the kitchen a few while they cooled.
Cinder gave Jaune a searing glare, baring her fang.
Cinder:Douche, you were in there with me! We were gonna try and make a cake.
Jaune:You can't prove that.
Mercury:You were. I saw you.
Jaune:TATTLETAIL!
Mercury:Personally, I was nowhere near the kitch-
Nora:You were in there, you tried stealing the the club cracker!
Mercury gritts his teeth and gives Nora a glare of his own. Cinder then raises her hand talking only when Splinter nods at her.
Cinder:I think Nora did it.
Nora:WHAT?!
Cinder:You were eating something in your room and your a squirrel! You could be hiding them in your cheeks!
Nora:N-no!
Splinter:Damare! I was only do this so I could see if anyone you fess up, I know you all ate the cookies over time
Kids:.....
Splinter:You know what? No Christmas cookies since you lied to me. We'll be eating.... I don't know but nothing Christmas like.
Kids:Awwwwwww!
RWBY Earlier; Ruby is training at Beacon Academy and encounters a group of Huntsmen who learn about her relationship with Jaune and mock her for it. Ruby takes exception to that and gives them a lesson in manners.
hereâs what I came up with for this. if you wanna try writing for it as well feel free. Iâm always curious to see what other people do with the same premise. everyone always has their own ideas itâs fascinating.Â
either way, I hope you like it RWBY Earlier
Chapter 2
The Lady Arc
Ruby was not so delicate a maiden that she didnât know the truth of war. She might have specialized in fighting Grimm but she was by no means naive about what jaune did as a knight of the realm. She knew that when given the opportunity even normal men would become monsters and she knew that fighting those monsters ran the risk of becoming one of them.
Grimm were far easier to deal with.
So when jaune had come home with that bone-tired look on his face she had cared for her husband (and boy was calling him that still something that made her feel giddy). All in all, they had grown closer for it. And ruby had assured him that she would take no other than him. She loved him and had yang been around still she was sure her older sister would agree with her.
She did hope yang got back soon, her job as spring maiden had Oswald keeping her in minstrel. Which if you asked her was kinda stupid, why not have the spring maiden in vale so if something happened they had to go all the way to anima. It would only give them more time.
A paranoid part of her thought that perhaps it was Oswald trying to isolate her so she was more likely to leave her husband. The other part knew that was giving the old man far too much credit. In reality, she and her sister represented his best set of new agents. And that meant they were constantly busy
Jaune would probably help too but she and Oswald both knew that jaune wouldnât follow orders from a man who had destroyed jauneâs way of life and had nearly left his family destitute after the great war. His ideals of democracy were great and all but ruby wasnât really sold on the concept. Still, she and her sister were heroes just like their mother before them. She would fight Salem and her minions to the end.
Well as soon as both she and yang graduated that was. In truth, yang was being used as a diplomat to minstral purely because of her connection to lady Branwen. Even if the nobility was gone, the people remembered. Though just where the former lady had gone to after her family was betrayed by the last king of Vale was a mystery. Same with her uncle qrow.Â
She missed them both dearly. But at least her mother was able to raise both her and yang together. She felt confidant that they would both be home soon from their mission.
Now if only she could get Oswald and his other agents to stop hating jaune.
Her husband hated himself enough for all of them.
It was actually a surprise though not much of one that the butcher of Anima wasnât the only title jaune had gained from his expedition. The savior of humanity was a far more popular one. Second only to his true moniker
Sir. Jaune The Just
His actions in defeating the monsters of the faunas rights rebellions and then his actions to protect Menagerie when Atlas threatened to invade had earned him quite a bit of respect. Though Vale remained firmly against him and she had the good headmaster to thank for that.
She found it funny, everyone but the country he fought for respected jaune. But jaune was so much a patriot that he hated himself. He truly was a son of Vale.
Ruby shook the morbid thought away with a rueful smile. Jaune would recover, he was already bouncing back with only a few days of them having been back together. And his knights still loved him. In time the people of vale would love him as well and be able to see that his actions while not right morally were necessary.
Her optimism was shattered with a call of âhey itâs the butcherâs whore! Done sucking the cock of that monster you call your man? Or maybe you came to see what a real man can do and not some coward who preys on the weakâ shouted the former lordling Winchester.Â
She found it somewhat ironic that the man was disparaging jaune for his actions when he himself had owned slaves not ten years ago before the practice was well and truly outlawed. Oh certainly the family might argue that they were former criminals indentured to serve but that was hollow reasoning when they only took pretty looking faunas women.
She did as she had always done and simply ignored the idiots that made up his team. Yang would have probably beaten them up. And her mom probably would have destroyed them politically but she had better things to do than waste her time. Weiss was waiting for her and they both had classes to get to.
âWalking away huh? Hey, ruby? Howâs old jauney boy holding up anyways? Itâs a lot harder to do anything without an army backing you up huh? I bet the coward is probably hiding back in his room crying for his little wifey to come and hold himâ she truly tried to ignore the cackling of the idiots. And if Weiss asked sheâd explain that she didnât intend on being late.
But jaune would do far worse to them if he heard. It was best to settle up debts as soon as possible. She loved her husband but the man was overzealous about protecting her and her honor at times.
So thatâs why when she deployed her war scythe all she did was smile.
Even as she launched Sky away with a single swing she smiled.
Even as she took a single step back before cleaving clean through Cardinâs armor with her counter strike she smiled.
And even as she chased the other two idiots down and made them bleed she smiledÂ
Jaune really was such a sweetheart.
Weiss looked at the slightly bloody ruby with a sigh and a smile âtheyâre not dead, are they? Itâs bad enough we might be late for class but murder will be even harder to explainâ
Ruby shook her head âno theyâre fine. terrified, but fine.â
Weiss smiled politely âyou would think theyâd learn by now that angering a prodigy at combat is nearly as bad as angering jauneâ
Ruby leaned over and mock whispered âtruth be told i just think Cardinâs jealousâ
Weiss raised an eyebrow âI had heard that his father had put forth a bride price for you butâŠâ
Ruby shook her head ânot of Jaune silly! Of Me!â
Weiss broke out laughing âah I see, so heâs upset you got jaune for yourselfâ
Ruby nodded âjauneâs a pretty great husband, but honestly the fact that Cardin spends every waking moment thinking about him is the reason why it just wouldnât work out.â
They walked in silence for a while before Weiss spoke up âso whatâs the real reason you went so far?â
Ruby thought for a moment âyou know why Cardin spends so much time thinking about jaune? Because heâs terrified of him. From a young age, jauneâs always been more powerful than Cardin. In politics, in economics, in prestige, and in charisma. The Arc family and jaune, in particular, have always been the one thing that his family didnât dare act against.â she stopped in front of the statue to jauneâs father, the best friend of the last king of vale who had died protecting his king. âUp until now, Cardin had been able to say that he was at least physically stronger and better at combat then Cardin. Jauneâs victory proved that wrong. And the fact that heâs a hero in other continents, basically everywhere but Vale and Vacuo, it got to him.â
Weiss nodded âthat doesnât answer my question though, why did you go so far against them?â she reached out and hugged ruby âtell me the truth pleaseâ
Ruby tried to hold back tears but eventually, the dam broke âeverything being said by those idiots is the things jaune says about himselfâ she hugged Weiss to her as hard as she could âAND ITâS NOT FAIR, JAUNE DID WHAT HE HAD TO! HEâS NOT A MONSTER WEISS AND I HATE THAT I CANâT CONVINCE HIM OF THAT.â she fell to her knees and sobbed into her friendâs shoulder âWhy should he suffer! He only did what they asked him to! The council sent him Oswald sent him! But they throw him away the second he does something that might look bad to their voters and those idiots whoâve never fought a day in their lives! So why Weiss Why my jaune!â
Weiss held her, ruby knew she didnât have the answers but this wasnât about answers this was about getting it out. And ruby had needed this. She hated that jaune was suffering and she couldnât do anything to help. Some hero she was if she couldnât even save her husband. And she cried for a while at the injustice of it clinging to Weiss like a lifeline.
Eventually, she calmed down, and still, Weiss held her in the quiet of the courtyard. Ruby sniffed bringing her head up âweâre definitely late for classâ
âThose old fossils can stuff it, youâre more importantâ
Something about the Lady of White saying it made it funny to ruby and she laughed as her friend held her.
Not too far from where the two girls had their moment Ozma was left to ponder something. He found he couldnât look at the statue of his old friend. Julius Arc was the previous wielder of Croceia Mors. and was the man who had died protecting him in his previous life as the last king of Vale. showing more loyalty and kindness to him than heâd experienced in all his lives.
And now he had cast away his son without even asking his side of the story.
âHave I truly fallen so far, old friend? Am I truly such a monster?â there was no response but Ozma couldnât help but feel heâd lost the respect of the brave knight.
Hi Sonia and Rory, good to see you again!, my question for today is, howâs school life been at Beacon so far? You two having any fun?
Summer II: Sonia?
Ruby: I think that was typo.
Snow: Good to see you again to Mr. Bssaz! Beaconâs been great so far! Our team has done pretty well, we have had a few mishaps during missions and Rory fell a little behind in his studies at one point, because he went ahead two years, but Dove and I helped get him caught up.
Rory: Also, having Aunt Yang and Uncle Oscar as teachers is pretty nice. Our team has had a few incidents, but overall weâve handled them well. Weâre also competing in the Vytal Festival, which is exciting.
Snow: Thereâs actually a decent amount of people betting on our team, which is flattering, but Iâm pretty sure once weâre up against Adrianâs team, weâre done. Weâll still give it our all though.
Okay, slight miscalculation on my part. I accidentally reblogged the tumblr game with my HellGoku account.

Rowan and Summer meet Rosemary
A crossover done by me and @bssaz97, edited by @thatorigamiguy Thanks guys!
Zwei: âAh, I almost forgot to introduce you all to my partner. Come follow me and Iâll introduce you to her.â
He gestures for the twins to follow him as he begins walking in the opposite direction. The twins quickly matched his pace, a look of matching curiosity and excitement on their face at the thought of meeting Zweiâs partner.
Rowan: âYour partner? Cool! What kind of person are they? Are they nice? What kind of weapon do they use? Are they strong? Are they nice?â
Summer: âAre they a boy or girl? Have you two known each other for long? Do you two fight in a similar manner? Or do they have their own fighting style?â
Zwei couldnât help but roll his eyes at the twins' inquisitive rambling, though it was more in fondness than exasperation. Their constant questioning reminded him of Ruby whenever she started drooling over a gun or was just excited in general about anything.
Zwei: *Internally* âYep, theyâre definitely Rubyâs children.â
Zweiâs lips twitched into a smirk at the thought, before he made to answer the twins before they could ask anymore questions.
Zwei: âHer name is Rosemary. Sheâs been my best friend since we were practically toddlers. She uses an Axe thatâs been modified into being a gun to compliment her semblance. No, we both have different fighting styles though they both compliment one another. Sheâs very strong, one of the strongest people Iâve ever known. And yes, sheâs very nice. Though, she also tends to be rather mischievous when she wants to be and can be a bit of a hothead as well.
Rowan: âReally? Thatâs so cool! And she uses an axe too as well? Thatâs an excellent choice of weapon, good for powerful swings and penetrating heavy hides on Grimm. As a matter of fact, Summer is learning how to use an Axe as well, right sis?â
Rowanâs question went unheard, as Summer seemed to have been fixated on something that Zwei had mentioned when talking about his partner.
Summer: âYou said sheâs your best friend huh? And that youâve known each since you were old enough to crawl?â
Rowan eyed his sister from the side, rolling his eyes as he began muttering about being so blatantly ignored.
Rowan: âOh yeah sure, just ignore my question Sis. Itâs not like I was talking to you or anything like that.â
Rowans' muttering went ignored as Summer patiently waited for an answer from Zwei. Zwei shot a curious glance over his shoulder at the question, before giving a quick shrug.
Zwei: âMaybe not that young, but weâve known each other since we were about two or three years old.â
Summer: âOh wow, you two have practically known each other your whole life! Sounds like they're about as close as Blaze, Joanna and Liena doesnât it Bro?â
Rowan was still muttering to himself about being ignored, causing Summer to roll her eyes at her brothers sulking. Zwei in turn, merely ignored the two of them as he led them down the halls of Beacon to where the inner gardens were. They eventually found themselves outside and surrounded by lush greenery and plentiful flora. The cascade of vivid colors from all of the varying flowers and plantage was quite the sight to behold. Summer let out a small gasp of delight as she looked upon colorful and well maintained gardens. Even Rowan couldnât help but gape at the mesmerizing gardens, his sulking having already been forgotten about. Zwei ignored the surrounding gardens, and instead made his way towards a lone person who was currently in the middle of watering some plants.
Upon getting closer, the person had turned out to be a woman with vibrant red hair that covered one of her violent eyes. She was dressed in gardening gear that had obviously seen a fair amount of use judging from the varying dirt and grass stains that were layered upon it, and the leather gloves and apron she wore having been warped and crimped from frequent usage. She was humming a cheerful tune to herself, when she noticed that she had company. A big smile plastered itself across her face as she quickly placed her watering can down before rushing over and immediately embracing Zwei, which he quickly returned. They held one another for a few seconds before they both separated from one another.
Rosemary: âWell, well, what brings you around my neck of the woods Z?â
Zweiâs smile quickly turned into a grimace, before letting out a groan of annoyance at Rosemaryâs choice of words.
Zwei: âUgh, really Rosie? Plant metaphors?â
Rosemary huffed in response, quickly crossing her arms as she gave Zwei a challenging look.
Rosemary: âOh hush, you! Itâs funny and you know it!â
Zwei merely gave her a deadpan look in response, clearly unimpressed with her lackluster attempt at humor.
Zwei: âOh sure Rosie, itâs funny alright, if you have absolutely no taste in humor. But I suppose thatâs what I should expect from someone that hangs around Yang all the time.â
Zwei didnât even bother to stop the smirk that formed on his face as watched Rosemary immediately get flustered. Her face was as red as her hair, and her teeth were gritted together in anger.Â
Rosemary: âNow listen here ya little mangy mutt!â
Zwei and Rosemaryâs friendly greeting soon devolved into bickering between the two of them. Rowan and Summer both stood awkwardly to the side, unsure of what to do as they didnât wish to impede upon their conversation. At least, Rowan stood there awkwardly while his sister looked upon the bickering friends with stars in her eyes.
Summer: *Internally* âOh brotherâs, they have it so bad for one another that itâs unreal! And sheâs perfect auntie material on top of that!â
Rosemaryâs tirade was cut off when she finally noticed the twins standing behind Zwei. She quickly calmed herself down, before giving the two a curious look.
Rosemary: âNever figured you to be one to willingly put up with tagalongs Zwei. Did the headmaster finally manage to get you to take on some firsties for that leadership program?â
Zwei only scoffed at her words as he rolled his eyes in annoyance of ever having to teach his younger peers anything.Â
Zwei: âIâd run face first into a brick wall with my semblance active before Iâd ever willingly take on a group of first years. And to make a long and complicated story short, these are Jaune and Rubyâs kids.â
Rosemary: â...Wait, wha-â
Zwei: âFrom another dimension.â
Rosemary was doing her best impression of a gaping fish at the total bombshell Zwei casually dropped on her, before shutting her mouth with an audible click. Her eyes were pinched shut as she found herself taking in a long, deep, breath before exhaling with obvious exasperation. Her eyes snapped open to give Zwei a tired, withering stare.
Rosemary: âNot even time and space itself prevents your family from doing anything by halves, huh Z?â
Zwei simply shrugged, before shooting Rosemary a cocky grin.
Zwei: âYouâve known me and my family long enough Rosie. Since when have we ever been oneâs to let the impossible stop us from doing anything?â
Rosemary went to give Zwei a response, before once again clicking her mouth shut in frustration.
Rosemary: âI hate the fact that I canât actually prove you wrong on that. But at this point, I shouldnât even be surprised at something like happening, itâs not like reality hasnât practically been shattered around us before or anything like that.â
Zwei: âNow youâre just being emotional, and besides: whatâs wrong with casually breaking all known laws of science and physics every now again?â
Rosemary: â...No comment.â
Rosemary gave Zwei a blank stare as she ignored his shit eating grin, before turning to regard the twins with a warm and welcoming smile.
Rosemary: âWell with that little bit of insanity out of the way, itâs nice to meet you two! Iâm Rosemary Thornbush, and you two are?â
The twins eyed each other momentarily, before they both went to introduce themselves to the older women.Â
Rowan: âIâm Rowan Rose-Arc, and itâs very nice to meet you Miss Rosemary.â
Rowan gave Rosemary a small, but polite smile as he gave her a quick wave in greeting. Summer on the other hand....
Summer: âHi, Iâm Summer Rose-Arc, and Iâm really happy to meet you Miss Rosemary!â
Summer had practically launched herself at Rosemary as she took one of her gloved hands in hers, practically shaking her hand at the same pace of a jackhammer on steroids. Rosemary didnât even so much as flinch at the act, having long since been used to such hyperactive behavior from dealing with Ruby on a near daily basis. A small squeal escaped past Rosemaryâs lips as she took in the sight of the precious little girl in front of her before quickly pulling her into a hug.
Rosemary: âOh Brotherâs above, youâre just an absolute doll! Oh what precious little thing you are Summer.â
Summerâs face practically beamed with joy as she preened at Rosemaryâs words of praise, returning her hug was just as much enthusiasm. Rowan couldnât help but snort at the sight of the two girls quickly getting along with one another, while Zwei quietly snickered at the sight of Rosemary acting just as her mother would in such a situation. Though she denied it, Rosemary had a tendency to smother people in a bombastic manner like her mother often tended to do, though she was a lot less open about that particular habit.
Rowan let out a curious hum as he truly took in the garden that was surrounding them. He saw various pathways all neatly trimmed and cared for, all of which were lined with various species of flora. From his observations, he honestly wouldnât be too surprised if Beacon had a greenhouse or two as well.Â
Rowan: âBy the way Miss Rosemary, do you mind if I ask why thereâs so much focus on tending to all of the plant life here in Beacon? Is there some kind of curriculum based around it?â
Rosemary: âFirst of all: Just call me Rosemary or Rosie, Rowan. Iâve never been one for formalities and Iâm certainly not my mother, thatâs for sure.â
Rowan's face flushed red in embarrassment before muttering out an apology, only to give his sister a dirty look when she snickered at his reaction. His face soon matched his skin when Zwei also snickered at his reaction, though he was quickly silenced by a pointed look that Rosemary shot at him.
Rosemary: âSecondly: There is a curriculum of sorts. The gardens and greenhouses of Beacon have been a staple since its founding. Apparently the original headmaster was big on preserving endangered flora and plant life that was at risk of being wiped out due to human expansion and Grimm hordes destroying the terrain during their rampages.â
Rosemary released Summer from her grip, before she walked back over to the flowers she was tending to before they had arrived. There were several flowers that were in the middle of their blooming period, still several days away from fully blooming.
Rosemary: âWhile it had originally started as a preservation effort, it had eventually become part of the curriculum as a set of optional classes. Specifically for training huntsmen in medicines and survival courses. Being out in the fields for extended periods of time isnât anything unusual to a career huntsmen, but that often means being out in the wild on your own with very little in conventional medicines and foods. Which often leaves you at the mercy of mother nature, and whatever mood sheâs currently feeling at the moment.
Rowan and Summer were completely enraptured by Rosemaryâs impromptu lecture, practically hanging onto every world. Zwei himself was paying rapt attention to Rosemary, though it certainly wasnât because he was interested in hearing the same lecture heâs heard a million times from both Rosemary and his step-mother.Â
Rosemary: âAura can protect and heal your wounds, but itâs still a finite resource and it canât keep you from going hungry or prevent your wounds from becoming infected or bones from setting right. There are loads of cases of huntsmen dying due to being unfamiliar with even the most basic of medical knowledge or because they ended up poisoning themselves from eating wild plant life they didnât know was meant for consumption. Not to say that huntsmen are dying left and right due to being ignorant of basic survival tactics, but it does make up for quite a few deaths and casualties every year. And as such, thatâs why itâs been a part of the Beacon curriculum for quite sometime and even though itâs technically still considered an âoptional,â class.â
Rosemary emphasized the word âoptional,â with a sneer and air quotes, causing the twins to giggle at and Zwei smile at her obvious feelings on the subject.
Rosemary: âItâs still heavily encouraged by most of the faculty and the current headmaster himself to take the course and to be familiar with at least the basics. The Class is currently taught under the instruction of Thumbelina Xiao-Long who, by the by, is also Beacons official doctor for the student body and my mentor. Sheâs a bit soft spoken, but sheâs also an absolutely brilliant woman and takes her role of an instructor and healer very seriously.â
Rowan and Summer both nodded along, before Rowan piped up with another question.
Rowan: âProfessor Xiao-Long is the current instructor of the class? Then I must imagine she has quite the green thumb if sheâs the school's expert in medication and survival.â
Rosemary: âYou would be one hundred percent correct Rowan! An astute observation on your part.â
Rosemary shot Rowan a sincere smile, causing him to blush at the sudden praise he received. He tried to ignore the snickering of Summer and Zwei, though both were quickly silenced when Rosemary gave them both another pointed look.
Rosemary: âYes, Thumbelina does in fact have quite the green thumb and itâs practically a requirement for being able to instruct the survival class. You have to have a thorough knowledge of flora and their medicinal properties, while also being familiar with whatâs edible and safe to eat versus whatâs dangerous for consumption. Itâs also important because you have to be familiar with various poisons and toxins that Grimm produce and that both assassins and rouge huntsmen use and how to either treat or stall their spread.â
Summer: âWow, sounds like professor Xiao-Long is one smart cookie then!â
Rosemary: âLike I said, sheâs a brilliant woman to work with, and Iâve learned a whole lot from tutoring under her.â
Rosemary went to say more, only to be abruptly interrupted by an annoyed looking Zwei.
Zwei: âYeah, yeah, yeah, sheâs such a âsmartâ and âwell readâ woman. Alright Rosie, this has been riveting, but are you done kissing my step-moms ass already or are you going to keep on rambling?â
Rosemaryâs mouth dropped for only a second, before her cheeks flushed red with anger and she had gotten a fierce look in her eyes.
Rosemary: âAh shut ya trap you mangy fur ball! Ya just angry that your Ma refuses to give you an easy pass in the class just because youâre family!â
Rowans and Summers' eyes widened as Rosemary went from being happy and cheerful, to having a full on Northern Vale accent. Zwei winced as her accent flared up, only to glare back at her in defiance.
Zwei: âIâm not angry at all! Ever since she took you on as an apprentice, all you ever do is go on and on about how âbrilliant,â and âpassionate,â she is!â
Rosemary: âItâs called having a healthy appreciation for someone Zwei! Sorry if that seems to upset ya for some reason, but I fail to see why ya care so much about it!â
Zwei: âHealthy appreciation, my ass! You're practically obsessed with her and all of her studies and theories, you may as well have a huge crush from how much you gush about her!â
Rosemary: âN-no I donât! Ya just saying that because-â
Zwei and Rosemary once again broke down into bickering with one another, completely ignoring the twins once again. Rowans looked on with concern written on his face, wondering if he should say something or intervene with the fight. Summer, on the other hand, watched them with a cheshire grin planted firmly on her face.Â
It was easy to see that there was little to no heat behind any of their words, even with the two of them practically shouting at one another. Secondly, Zwei had purposely goaded Rosemary into the argument, not even bothering to be subtle about it. And it was clearly obvious to Summer that Rosemary had the ability to keep a cool head and could have avoided getting into an argument with Zwei, but that she all but yanked on the obvious bait that had been laid out in front of them. All in all, they came off as an old arguing couple that were arguing for the sake of arguing rather than two people that were truly mad at one another.
Summer: *Internally* âOh yeah, they definitely have it bad for one another!â
Summer snickered at the thought, before she gave a polite cough to grab the arguing pairs attention. Zwei and Rosemary were practically in each other's faces when they both froze, and looked over to see that they still had people present. Rowan had suddenly found the ground to be the most fascinating thing in the world, while Summer was trying(and failing) to hide a smug smile at their behavior.
Summer: âDo you two need a moment? Iâve been told that a lover's spat is usually dealt with in private, rather than the whole world to see.â
Summer thought she would get a further reaction out of them, only to become confused when neither Zwei or Rosemary gave each other a look, before they started laughing as if they had just heard a funny joke.
Rosemary: âHa! Me and this guy dating? Not in a million years!â
Zwei: âSorry to disappoint you Ruby Junior, but while weâre close weâre not that close with one another.â
The two continued to share a good laugh with one another, which only served to confuse Summer more than she already was! It was obvious they had feelings for one another! They had all of the textbook signs of being attracted to one another, how could they not see this! Summer went to call them out on this, before she was interrupted by her twin.
Rowan: âYou know itâs not polite to assume theyâre dating based solely off of looks alone Summer.â
Summer: âWhat?! But, but-!â
Rowan: âAnd even if they were, itâs not nice to call them out like that either. Itâs rude, and you know you were taught better than that.â
Summer couldnât do anything but openly gawk at her brotherâs scolding, her mouth open and closing as she tried to(and completely failed to) formulate a response to how the situation had completely been turned against her. Not helping matters was the fact that Zwei and Rosemary were both openly snickering as Summer was being reprimanded by her brother in an eerily similar fashion to how their mother would have been scolding them.
Zwei: âSnk! Yeah Summer, itâs pretty arrogant of you to just up and assume that Rosemary and I are dating just because it looks like weâre having a lovers spat.â
Rosemary: âPfff! Yeah hon, you shouldnât just assume something based off of first impressions alone. That kind of attitude will just come back to bite you in the ass sooner or later.â
The pair continued to laugh as Summerâs cheeks had flushed red enough to match her namesake, before she quietly muttered out an apology while she desperately wished she could sink into the ground. Rowan kept a neutral facade, though inwardly he couldnât help but smile as his sister was now the target of some embarrassment. After a few more teasing comments from his tour guides, Rowan had decided to end his sister's torment.
Rowan: âOkay, I think you two have gotten your kicks in and my sister has been thoroughly embarrassed enough.â
Zwei and Rosemary both quickly picked up on what Rowan was saying, and after another brief round of chuckles and one last teasing remark or two, they had both finally let up on Summer.
Rosemary: âAh man, the look on your face was priceless! Ah, but enough of that, I think sheâs not going to make any more assumptions soon, donât you think Zwei?â
Zwei: âMmmmh, yeah I think our would-be romantist has learned her lesson.â
Summer let out a sigh of relief, only to wince when Zweiâs eyes narrowed and he got a devious smirk on his face.
Zwei: âFor now.â
Summer could only groan at the thought of future teasing, while her brother could only roll his eyes at her reaction. Doing his best to ignore his sister's despair, he addressed Rosemary yet again as a sudden thought occurred to him about something she had mentioned earlier.â
Rowan: âYou mentioned that you were Professor Xiao-Long's apprentice earlier? Iâd imagine that the requirements would be having an extensive knowledge of flora and medicines, as well as having a way with plants yourself?â
Rosemary: âPretty much, though It also helps that my semblance is practically tailor made for the position.â
At the mentions of her Semblance, both siblings perked up with excitement with Summerâs previous air of misery quickly evaporating.
Rowan/Summer: âReally?!â
Rosemary: âYes, really! Course, I had to work my butt off to still qualify for the position against several other people, but my semblance pretty much gave me an edge over all of the others.â
Zwei had let out a rather loud cough that sounded like he was saying ânepotism,â though he began coughing for real when Rosemary elbowed him in the gut. Neither of the twins chose to comment on the aforementioned moment.
Summer: âIn that case, could we see your semblance Rosie?â
Rowan: âThat is, if you donât mind taking the time to show us that is.â
Summer was practically beaming in excitement at seeing a new semblance that she had never seen before. Rowan tried to keep his excitement in check by being polite, though even he couldnât mask the enthusiasm that leaked into his tone at the thought of Rosemary giving a showing of her semblance.
Rosemary went quite as she put her hand to her chin as if to suggest that she was contemplating the twins request. Zwei scoffed at the display, though he couldnât help but internally smile at the twins' curiosity and excitement. The yearning of wanting to learn and see new things made him think of both Ruby and Jaune, and he was slowly starting to see bits of both parents in their kids as he observed and interacted with them.
Rosemary: âMmmmh, well⊠I guess I can take the time to show off a little bit. Iâd be more than happy to show you two my semblance...â
The twins both beamed with excitement, before it quickly dimmed as Rosemary quickly tacked on:
Rosemary: â...After I finish the rest of my tasks around the garden. It wonât take me long, all I have to do is finish laying down some mulch and stow away my tools and gear and Iâd be more than happy to show off to your heart's content.â
Rosemary couldnât help but smirk at the sight of the twins both pouting in disappointment at having to wait to see her semblance. Zwei simply rolled his eyes at their obvious disappointment, before he decided to speak up once again.
Zwei: âAh quit your bellyaching you two. It wonât take her long to finish up, and thereâs plenty we can do to kill some time. How about I show you two around the gardens some more, then we come back here to bug Rosie some more, alright?â
The twins both muttered out words of agreement, before they both started to make their way deeper into the gardens. Zwei let them get ahead of them for a moment, before he turned to regard Rosemary with a smirk.
Zwei: âSo, when did you have the girl made?â
Rosemary in turn, gave Zwei a shit eating grin back as she made to respond.
Rosemary: âAs I was holding her, and she kept looking back and forth between the two of us as if she had just had an epiphany. You?â
Zwei: âShe kept looking back at me with a âknowing,â look when you were giving your impromptu lecture. I think she thought I was looking at you as if I was enraptured or some other sappy shit like that. Sorry about suggesting you were a kiss ass by the way, I didnât mean any of it.â
Rosemary barked out a laugh as she waved off Zweiâs apology, showing that she wasnât offended in the slightest.
Rosemary: âNah, I knew you were only saying that to set the girl up. Besides, Iâd know youâd never willingly talk smack to me like, especially about your Step-Mom. I couldnât even imagine what your dad would have done to you if that were the case, and Brotherâs above what your sisters would have done to you if they heard you talking about Thumb and I that way.â
Zwei physically flinched at the thought, before mentally locking that nightmare scenario away with all of his other repressed memories.Â
Zwei: âYeah, best not to think about the results from that hypothetical situation. Still, it was fun to mess around with her like that. Those two may be from another dimension, but theyâre definitely Jauneâs and Rubyâs kids, and just as fun to mess around with.â
Rosemary: âMmm, be that as it may, do remember that your sister and brother in law got you just as often as you did them, and I doubt their children are no different. So try not to mess around with them too much Zwei, lest you find yourself being played at your own game.â
Zwei went to argue against her warning, only to pause as he truly thought it over. After a moment of contemplation, swore under his breath as he realized that Rosemary was right.
Zwei: â...Theyâre probably going to get me back at some point for all of this, arenât they?â
Rosemary only smiled at Zweiâs Rhetorical question, before giving him a quick pat on the cheek as she walked the other way, grabbing her water can along the way.
Rosemary: âGive me about thirty minutes or so, and Iâll be available for the rest of the day. In the meantime, you should probably catch up with your strays before they end up causing chaos like theyâre probably prone to do.â
Zwei stared at the retreating form of Rosemaryâs back, before letting out a sigh as he began walking in the direction that the twins wandered off to, grumbling to himself the whole time.
Maledictus Eris
A new au by @bssaz97 and I.
Humans and Fanaus born with Grimm powers. Made by the God of Darkness as one middle finger to Salem as they cannot be control by her as well to make Rivals to Silver eyes warriors. Something that backfire as many silver eyes warrior ended up with maledictus eris and having SEW and maledictus eris childern.
They feed off negative energy and agression, compare to SEW that are about inner peace and happiness.
The powers a maledictus eris are formed on a mask that is very grimm like. No real physical changes happen while using these powers. It boosts aura level, as well as semblance if they have one. If the mask is destroyed, the power they get goes go away. And for an untrained mask user, they take 6 hours to reform. Every maledictus eris can uses a bit of magic with training, and are unaffected by the silver eyes power. Grimms, unless provoked will not attack attack an maledictus eris with their mask on.
Despite the boost to aura boosts, The masks drains it as well.
Malledictus eris are born as such. They can be inherited from parents to children and getting it randomly when they are born.
Character in my au that are maledictus eris
Summer Rose(born as one.)
Zwei Rose(inherited from his mother summer.)
Daisy Thornbush(inherited from her father.)
Xing xiao long.(Born as one.)
Willing to answer question about this.
Part 2 of the crossover with @bssaz97
Rowan: pinching his cheeks Come on Rowan, youâre in a dream. Youâre in a dream... so wake up!
Summer: Wait if youâre in a dream , why am I here?
Rowan: ....
Summer: ....
Rowan: .... grabs and pinches her cheeks
Summer: Owie!
Rowan: Ok, not a dream.
Zwei stares at the exchange and then goes over to lightly slap Rowan over the head.
Zwei: Don't do that again. This ain't a dream.
Rowan: Right... so youâre really our uncle?
Zwei:Yeah? I mean look at me. Don't I look like Ruby?
Rowan: Hmm, yeahhh, you do.
Zwei:Plus I've been told I just give off the same energy of Yang. Whatever the fuck that means.
Summer: I do feel the resemblance.
Rowan: But Mom and Auntie Yang never mentioned having a brother though.
Summer: Yeah that does seem like something theyâd mention to us.
Zwei:.... I don't like to think about this But, maybe Mom died before I was born... I'm like 5 years younger then your mom.
Zwei looked awkward saying it. It was a hard pill to swallow. Considering the subject matter he was talking about.
Rowan/Summer: ....
Rowan: That went grim fast.
Summer: I mean, maybe thatâs not the case. We do know of a Zwei, but...
Zwei raised an eyebrow.
Zwei:But what?
Rowan: I donât know how to easily say this, but from where were from... youâre a dog.
Zwei:... Duh. I'm a dog Fanaus.
Summer: No, like youâre literally a dog.
Zwei:I... I'm lost.
Rowan: pulls out scroll hereâs a picture from when Mom was at Beacon with Yang and.. their version of Zwei.
Zwei:... I'm a actually dog?! What the hell?!
Zwei begins to run his hand through his hair.
Rowan: Iâm sorry, this is probably very weird for you.
TanakaClinkenbeard10/13/2020
Zwei then calms himself down and takes a deep breath. :It's fine. Fine . Fine. Fine. Fine. Never show me that.
Rowan: Sure thing.
Zwei:I'm your uncle today. Okay? Let's..... let's talk about other stuff. Like Now. Right now. Uh... What you got in your universe?
Both Summer and Rowan exchanged looks before looking back to their new uncle.
Summer: Well we live in a cabin in the woods.
Rowan: And we live with our Mom in Patch.
Zwei:Same place dad lived?
Summer: No, itâs a different cabin, although his is not too far away from ours.
Rowan: Itâs one that Mom and... Dad built when they were engaged. It was a present to them.
Zwei smiles a bit at the twins.
Zwei:Jaune? How is that dork doing? Does he still think Xray and Vav are legit heroes?
Rowan: ....heâs not around anymore.
Zwei:.... Oh. When did he?
Rowan: Before we were born, we never knew him.
Summer: Mom would tell us stories about him and we have pictures of him. Other than that, we know nothing else.
Zwei:I unfortunately know how that feels. My mom died a few months after I was born. So... Trust me when I say this. Places a hand on their shoulders. I know how you might be feeling(edited)
Rowan: ....thank you.
Summer: So, did you know him?
Zwei:Since I was ten. And... I do got good news kiddos.(edited)
Both Rowan and Summer perked up a bit.
Rowan: Whatâs that?
Zwei:He's still alive. Well. I hope. With you being here I have no doubts Citrine and Xing is in your universe. And the disappearance of his daughter might give him a heart attack.(edited)
Rowan/Summer: HUUHHH?!!
The twins jumped on to Zwei.
Rowan: Heâs alive? For real?!
Summer: You better not be joking with us Uncle Zwei!
Zwei was covering his ears from their scream before he yelp and fell on his back.
Zwei:Yes! I'm not joking! What kinda asshole do you think I am?!
Rowan: Brothers Dadâs alive... Heâs alive! jumped into the air and cheered I canât believe this, heâs here and heâs alive. This is... this...
Rowan began to sniff up a storm and tried wiping his face with his sleeves.
Zwei sits up and quickly hugs Rowan and Summer
Zwei:Come on. It's okay if you wanna cry
At that both twin hugged their uncle and cried into his shirt, causing a large wet spot to form.
TanakaClinkenbeard10/13/2020
Zwei payed it no mind and simply let them cry patting them on the back.
After a good of time had passed the twins loosened their grip of their uncle and wiped their eyes.
Rowan: Thanks uncle Zwei, I guess we really needed that.
Summer: Sorry about your shirt...
TanakaClinkenbeard10/13/2020
He waves it off and takes the shirt off. Shows his body with a scar that went across his stomach.
Zwei:Eh. no Biggie I'll just put on a different shirt.
Rowan/Summer: .....
TanakaClinkenbeard10/13/2020

Zwei:Got it in a fight with a Yakuza when I was 15.
Summer: Really?! Thatâs so cool!
Rowan: Did it hurt?
Zwei:Oh like hell. But let's not talk about that you guys want to go out and do something fun?
Summer: Yeah! Letâs go!
Rowan: Hold up Sum grabs her hoodie
Summer: What?
Rowan: We need to follow Zwei, remember?
Summer: Ohhh giggles Right.
Zwei:Right. Now. Onwards!
Rowan/Summer: Yeah
