I. REVERIE, AN INTRODUCTION
June 2026 â Purpose
To put it simply, Le RĂŞverie is an accumulation of whatever holds Reverie's current interest, carefully formatted into bite-sized pieces for readers' entertainment and understanding. A variety of topics will be discussed in the issues, from fashion to current terrorists(..?)
Ah, you wanted to know about Reverie? Don'tâit's hard to pull anything about herself out of her. She only wishes for her art to be acknowledged. What we do know is what she doesâthis foreigner's fashion designs are adored by Yokohama, even in despite of her controversy (her "alleged", not obvious relationship with the demonic terrorist, her "alleged" relationship with the newly-brought-to-light former Port Mafia executiveâseriously, is she a demon, herself?). She creates art and writes under aliases in her spare time, though any of her pseudonyms are unknown. She has been caught in the past supporting local libraries, museums, and commissioning so much art from smaller artists as if she were a Medici, but she hasn't been seen casually in public since Osamu Dazai's arrest.
Of course, she also bought name rights to this magazine, and we write about whatever she desires. We don't know why either, probably just to fuel her ego.
II. WORKS IN PROGRESS
After two years, the author known as AureatchĂ ends her writing hiatus?
By the way, it is pronounced: "aureate-chi." For golden brilliance and ornamental language (and the infamous Uchiha clan killer). After going without publishing a creative work for almost twenty-four months, the author finally breaks her silence and would even like to share pieces of the atmospheres that have been conjured in her mind during her long period of absence. They will be available to the public, soon.
I. Il Principe (Dostoevsky, Bungou Stray Dogs)
RITHOTD, fem!Reader. Canon-compliant. Oneshot collection. An exploration into the left-out details of Dostoevsky's previous organisation, including the Prince he eventually left it all behind to.
"Men are driven by two principal impulses, either by love or by fear."
II. (Dazai, Bungou Stray Dogs)
TOP NOTES . . . the sea / carefree dancing / faint aftershave / black coffee / clean linen / peppermint / the ghost of his cologne after he's left.
HEART NOTES . . . ink on paper / out-of-key piano / mist on a cold morning / whiskey / old birthdays / jazz music.
BASE NOTES . . . feuille morte / musk / inner seagull's carcass lining / spiritual pollution / melancholic ressurection / love.
Fem!reader, canon-divergent (manga and BSD!Beast spoilers), romance, tragedy. Aureatchi heavy character analysis and societal critique.
III. (Caines, Gachiakuta)
'''So many questions,' Tamsy says, and you can't pinpoint the tone of his voice, which is usually so animated toward a specific feeling. It usually makes him seem easy to read, but now you can't tell what he's thinking at all.
"You agreed, didn't you? Observing is fun. And sometimes, I like to treat it as a game.'
"'What do you mean?' you ask, but to your surprise, you hear Tamsy's voice ask the same question with you, synchronising with your voice.
"You can practically hear him saying 'exactly,' as he smiles, and you can't tell if you imagined his gaze on your lips in that same moment. You frown to show your annoyance, but he's already turning to redirect your attention."
Healer, fem!reader, canon-divergent (implied major manga spoilers), romance.
IV. (multi, Bungou Stray Dogs)
The author has experienced bouts of terrible insomnia up until now, and so, of course, her thoughts have consisted of different ways the Bungou Stray Dogs' men could put you to sleep. Most likely featuring Osamu Dazai, Chuuya Nakahara, Ranpo Edogawa, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Akutagawa Ryunosuke, and Atsushi Nakajima, Aureatchi returns with her carefully crafted multi-character pieces to commence summer.
Fem!reader, possible manga spoilers, romance.
V. Tempus EdÄx Rerum
"Time, devourer of all things, and you, hateful old age, you destroy everything. And bit by bit you consume all those things which have been mangled by the teeth of the passing age." Ovid, Metamorphoses.
"I am proposing a day off with you, Fyodor clarified. He sounded faintly comedic in his offer, pulling you out of your thoughts. He shifted to his usual, placid tone.
"Would you oblige me?"
The whole day? With Fyodor?
This is certainly Heaven.
"How could I ever turn you down?" you responded faster than you could think it through. You earned an odd reaction from himâthe expression flashed through his face for only a second, before dissipating completely, like a piece of sharp glass blending into water. You had no time to pinpoint what it entailed, as with the exact scent of his cologne.
"Hm. That was to be expected.
"I almost cast aside how unappeasable you are."
An excerpt, from a Fyodor Dostoevsky x fem!Reader work. Canon divergent (BSD manga spoilers), established relationship. Romance. Coming very soon.
(If there are any readers who are interested in one or more works-in-progress, the comment section is open for requests to be tagged, once they are published. Absolutely do not plagarise anything from this section of the text.)

IV. SUMMER FOR VAMPIRES LOATHERS
How Dostoevsky Survives Summer (Headcanons)
(To preface, with current events such as the heatwaves reverberating across the world, more should be done to stay healthy. Stay hydrated and take care of yourself outside!)
The summer is too hot for Dostoevsky. Already prone to exhaustion, the heat makes things unbearably worse. He plans accordinglyâhe could never be in the city (or wherever he is) at this time, for the pollution in the air from car engines and density of population make him more prone to sicknessâand Dostoevsky hates getting sick.
Still, he must continue his plans; the sun cannot allow him to stop striding toward his goals. Before retreating to the suburbsâor even the countrysideâhe assigns the dirty work in the metropolis to a poor rat, who will bear the burden of suffering the heatwave, himself.
Meanwhile, Dostoevsky goes on summer holiday. Sometimes, he stays alone. Other timesâthrough his connectionsâhe stays with a wealthy family (do not be surprised to hear about them being murdered by September). In these times, he works in the shadows; figuratively, this time, because there are no literal shadows to hide behind during the long days. He always goes outdoors with a parasol, for his skin burns easily.
His blouses are still white, but they are made of lighter material for the season. He has taken a liking to silk and piĂąa fabric, as of late.
Of course, he still drinks his daily tea, brewed in the samovar. Still, he has to drink water. There is a secretly childish aspect about him...Fyodor finds the taste of water a bit boringâhe fancies flavour that isn't artificial.
And so, he likes water infused with citrus. rotating between a variety of fruits in the pitcher throughout the months (lemon, lime, orange...). He may also add cucumber for even more refreshmentâit's very tasty.
(Contrary to the popular opinion, Dostoevsky's fiancĂŠe states that yodor does not detest summer, or at least as much as you'd think. Still, don't leave him in the city without air conditioning. He will melt like ice cream.)
To be expanded on in a future work.
(Fyoeri excerpt)
"Bach's Goldberg Variations? An interesting choice for tonight, Fedya."
"Yes," he responds, a small smile revealed to her on his face. "A meticulous piece that is particularly meticulous because of the amalgamation of mathematical relationships with the music. His thirty variations are split into ten groups of three, and every third variation is a canon. Each canon is written as if it were more like a puzzle to be solved, because "voices' are pit against each other to be played forwards and backwards, increasing in speed. This is known as-"
"-The counterpoint," she cuts him off. "Point against point. In musical theory, they are two lines that, while originally remain independent in rhythm, depend on each other in harmony. Together, they create a sound more brilliant than if they were both alone. A contrast becomes a balance."
"You understand," he says, satisfied, and to this, she cannot help but feel a bit prideful.
He continues. "Would you like to duet with me, darling?"
if you got this far, thank you for reading. <33
