'How do you spell Mjolnir?'

Bruce looks up from his laptop. Love sits opposite him at the kitchen table, pink glitter gel pen poised over the paper. She quickly covers her work when he leans over, but he glimpses a drawing of them all holding hands. Warmth fills his chest. Only a year ago, Thor had returned to New Asgard with a child resurrected by Eternity, bound by a promise to keep her safe. It hadn’t been easy, but they’d made it work.

‘Hello? Bruce?’ Love waves at him.

Bruce blinks. ‘Sorry, what did you say?’

‘Mjolnir. How do you spell it?’ She taps her pen against her chin.

‘M-O-I-J-N-A-R.’

‘Thanks.’

Bruce returns to his spreadsheet and fills in a few cells. Then stops. ‘Wait. Hang on. That’s not right.’

Love groans. ‘Aww, now I have to cross it out!’

There’s a chuckle behind them. Thor is slicing up vegetables for soup. After a lifetime of being waited on by Asgard’s finest, he’s learnt to enjoy cooking. ‘It is a difficult word to spell.’

Summary: Wanting to recreate the memory of their first date was a sweet idea. A beautiful romantic gesture at heart. Bruce hadn't thought that meant Thor dragging him through the Norwegian Mountains though, especially when it turns out what his boyfriend seeks probably doesn't even exist anymore.

After the battle of New York is over, Bruce moves into Stark Tower - not Stark, it’s the Avengers Tower now. It takes some getting used to, but somewhere along the way, Bruce finds a new home.

From 2018 to 2021 we had a blast with Bruceweek - after a break, we are now back with Round Five full of love for Bruce and ready to celebrate him!

We would like the focus for Bruceweek to be on Bruce and less on Hulk. This year, we have made a change to the rules, and fan works with romantic content for any Bruce ships are now allowed and welcome. As usual, all friendships are also very welcome! Please respect everyone’s choices regarding romantic and platonic ship choices.

We will give two prompts a day for every day of Bruceweek, so you can choose yourself which prompt(s) you want to use.
