okay okay, so hear me out (this is no kids au but i will be making an omegaverse kids au of this at some point):

Nico has been single since the 2016 break up and Jenson has finally had enough of his hot ass friend being banged like once a year when he's drunk enough.

so, cue jenson trying to convince Nico to date Max.

Nico's like 'wtf why thats so random' and Jenson then starts explaining in very intense detaill how 'dude he obviously had a crush on you. and very likely still has a crush on you.'

Nico is very unconvinced but then jenson is able to talk for like 45 minutes about examples and suddenly nico is pretty convinced.

He's like '...fine, but, just as a nice hook up right?' 'yup, exactly. there's no need to rush into a relationship with the first guy you want to sleep with sober.'

at 5 am on a random thursday 3 weeks later, jenson's phone pings.

im dating max. idk how this happened jen. wtf

So Max and Nico date for a while but Max can very much still tell Nico is in love with Lewis (something nico has never tried to hide, and was very honest with Max about)

and like a normal person, max decides that he needs to get lewis and nico to fuck and be cucked.

he contacts jenson because he knows that jenson is close to nico and jenson is just like 'no. no max do not do that. thats a horrible idea why would you think to do that-'

so max obviously does it.

And he witnesses such sweet love between drunk ass nico and lewis, that it both breaks and repairs his heart.

But then, nico turns to him in his drunkness and whines. 'max- maxy, want you here to. please.'

Max expects Lewis to protest. He doesnt. He just gives max an 'are you coming' look and lets Max touch nico.

So lewis and max start to bond over how beautiful and amazing and great nico is.
