I have been waiting for Apollo to have a show down with Hades. The second I got to read this as a fast passer, I immediately came to my computer and began typing like this:

So we can clearly see that Persephone does not want to be seen or talk to Apollo at all. Hades of course does the whole talking to himself in the head type of thing so we can see his train of thought. He see’s our cinnamon roll’s discomfort and asks her if she is okay. Hades asks her if she wants to talk to him which of course she denies wanting contact with that purple scum. She apologizes for Apollo acting crazy and Hades tells her not to worry because she can’t control someone.

So Hades pulls out some hilarious phrases ever in this chapter. “Would you stop assaulting my window? You’re getting it all greasy...” Of course he ignores Hades and proceeds to talk to Persephone. Which Hades just kind of puts up all the blocks like “nah bruh she doesn’t like you because she would have asked you.” Now we see a mad Apollo and Hades showdown. 

AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Apollo STILL TRIES TO TALK TO PERSEPHONE THROUGH THE CLOSED WINDOW. WE SEE AN ANGRY HADES MAKE HIS WAY TOWARDS THE PURPLE IDIOT AND MAKES FUN OF HIS LYRE CALLING IT AN EXPERIMENTAL HARP. 

Apollo insults Hades as if Hades would know what that it is called a Lyre, but Apollo wouldn’t know that because he can’t take the hint. 

Now we see Persephone getting an idea. She unlocks Apollo’s car with her magical goddess hair with her red eyes so we know home girl beyond pisssed. 

Now I think Apollo called Hades, Grandpa Winter has got to be the worst insult I have ever heard. Apollo then proceeds to talk to Hades about Persephone’s feelings towards Hades like he has any idea. Persephone being the QUEEN that she is corrects this boy and puts him in his place. 

“You’re wrong. I do, as you put it, give a shit about him.” All while her eyes are bright red. At this point she’s about to loose it. 

She tells him to go home after he tells her that he feels ignored. TAKE THE HINT BRO. SHE DOES NOT WANT TO SEE YOU. GO AWAY. IT’S OVER BRO. SHE NEVER LIKED YOU. 

*INSERT MARIAH CAREY’S SONG OBSESSED* 

Now since Apollo was not getting the hint to go home, Hades has no choice, but to use the most effective weapon in his arsenal.

But not to be that person, but Poseidon looks like a whole meal with all the jewelry and his hair looks luscious. Of course, Poseidon’s all like “Bro why didn’t you call me to be your wing-man for prowling girls in the mortal realm. Then he changes him into a Green toga and now of course they match. How cute! This whole scene with Poseidon was so well done that I love to go back and read that scene. Fish sticks is a great comic relief for all that tension. 

Zeus: Bitey boi.

Poseidon: ... And over here, a swordfish.

Zeus: Pointy boi.
