Twenty-one days ago: Jemmaās swallowed by that fucking rockā¦taken from himāpossibly foreverājust when things between them had begun to mend and mold into something greaterā¦something better. Ā
He and Jemma and Daisyā¦Daisy and Him and Jemmaā¦Jemma and Daisy and Him. All together. Forever and Always.
Two days ago: SkyeāDaisy Johnson, codename: Quakeāleft the teamā¦and himā¦behind on Coulsonās ordersā¦ traveling the worldā¦ recruiting other forsaken inhumans with her partner, Lincoln Campbell. Her name now Daisy Johnsonā¦her codename: Quakeā¦the legendā¦the mythā¦the fucking martyr.
āThere was never an us! There canāt beā¦not nowā¦not everā¦ā Skyeāitās Daisy now. Daisy fucking Johnsonāhad said to him before sheād gone. Her voice hard and eyes deadā¦the spark gone. Twenty-three days and nights later: Fitz decides to get rip-roaring drunk and hang around the monolith like a fucking loser. Waitingā¦Watching... a half-empty bottle of Jameson dangling from his gripā¦his breathing saw-edgedā¦his heart blackeningā¦unchecked rage and sorrow boiling close to the surfaceā¦ finally ready to be set free. The urge to scream at the top of his lungs overflowingā¦threatening to consume him.
AndāFitzās become too jadedā¦been left too rawā¦to continue holding it back. So Leopold Fitz lets looseā¦and screams and screamsā¦until his throat burns from the inside out and his voice breaks apart from the heavy weight bogging him down into the depths of his own despairā¦suffocatingā¦tearing him wide open and bleeding on the floorā¦.until thereāre no sounds to express his heartbreakā¦
He yells until thereās nothing left and the exhaustion and alcohol take over and he passes outā¦and thatās how Mack finds him the next morning, a smashed whiskey bottle and bloody knuckles with all his anguish exposed.
