Prompt 25 - Ice

Previous part First part
James didn’t need to ask where they were going. He knew as soon as Regulus turned towards the entrance door and not the marble staircase. They were going flying.
The air was like ice as it whipped against James’s bare skin. His face and hands were already turning red, and his fingertips were numb. He didn’t care. He loved flying.
He zoomed around the perimeter as fast as he could, easily outstripping Regulus, who, while he flew faster than most, didn’t have the recklessness that James did.
He pulled up, panting from the exertion. Regulus flew over to his side, and without a word, they began doing a few manoeuvres.
To James, it felt like they were dancing. They twirled down to the ground in a tight corkscrew only to pull out of the dive at the last second and arching back up above the stands. They wove around each other and performed synchronised loops high above the pitch. By the time they’d had enough, both were exhausted.
They flew a few lazy laps before landing on the wet ground. James took Regulus's broom from him and put it over his shoulder with his own and, with his spare hand, took Regulus’s and walked towards the changing rooms and the hot showers inside.
