I am an art installer currently out of work.  So when my mom asked me to build her a Brooder Box for our newly hatched chicks, I got a little carried away. But have to say this was one of the most fun projects I've worked on while “cooped up” during quarantine.

We have new chicks in a brooder. They are learning how to get water from the waterer with nipples. They tap the nipples and they release water, so simple. The chicks love it! Pecking gives them great satisfaction and with this method it also provides water. Within 30 minutes to an hour 2 from the last time I checked the incubator 2 chicks hatched much sooner than expected. They are 2 days early! One is an EasterEgger while the other a White Leghorn.
