虫入り琥珀のブローチ

Brooch of the amber with insect

4500万年、始新世と呼ばれる時代に

バルト海沿岸の樹の樹脂と小さな虫

が化石になった琥珀で、ブローチを作りました。

始新世は火山から出るガスの影響で気温が上がり

南極の氷が溶けてワニや有袋類がいたそうです。

琥珀は日本を含む世界中で宝飾品として珍重されました。

ヨーロッパでは幸福を招くものと信じられ、

琥珀を贈ると、“幸せを贈る”という意味があり

積年の愛の花が開くとされています。

I made a brooch with the amber that the resin of the tree of the Baltic Sea coast and a small insect became the fossil in The times to be called Eocene epoch for 45 million years.
