(Hello, my friends! This is a new blog, so bear with me while I set everything up. To start things off, I’ll talk a bit about my muse, since I doubt anyone else has seen Deadwood. If you have, and know who Brom is, please let me know so we can be best friends.
Brom Garret is a man who went to Deadwood, South Dakota, in the late 1800s, in order to seek out gold - as many did in those times. He wanted to provide for his new wife, and simply make a life for them. Unfortunately, things did not quite work out as planned: every time he would start to strike into luck, something would happen or it would end up being a dud and worthless. And then he discovers that his wife, Alma, is addicted to drugs.
As for Brom himself; he is a softspoken and slightly awkward man, with an earnest demeanour. He can be slightly gullible at times, and mistrusting at others. He isn’t comfortable with dead bodies and prefers to stay away from them, if he had the choice. He loves his wife, and he simply wants to build a life for them.
Now, I haven’t watched any further in the storyline he has, so I can’t say what else happens. But for now, that is the basic information and should give you a little insight as to Brom’s background and personality.
