               ˜”*°• .    Break  everything  inside  this  room .  This  was  all  he  wanted ,  this  was  all  he  needed .  Shout  at  her ,  lash  out  -  her  words  nothing  but  adding  gasoline  to  the  fire .  A  fire  that’d  grown  uncontrollable .  ❝  When  the  hell  did  I  lie  to  you,  Daisy ? ❞  Question  echoed  abrupt ,  hostile .   He’d  done  nothing  to  her  -  he  hadn’t  gone  around  sleeping  with  whoever  looked  in  his  direction ,  he  hadn’t  thrown   a year   relationship  the  moment  someone  smiled  at  him .  And  he  could  have  done  it  -  oh  the  opportunities  here  and  there , endless .  All   these  girls  desperately  seeking  autographs  and  selfies  and  attention .   But  well,  he  guessed  that  some  people  just  couldn’t  show  respect .  How  long  after  they’d  broken  up  had she started sleeping around ?  And  she  didn’t  seem  to  care  at  all .

No more drinking after this. That is what Katie thinks the moment she opens her eyes. Her head is throbbing and everything aches she is getting too old for this shit. Still she had gone out for drinks with Phil talking about the past one drink turned to two then three... then the need for advil. She stumbles into the bathroom not bothering to flip on the lights as she fumbles to open the mirror. When it doesn't open after about the third try she flips on the lights only to realize this isn't her mirror or her vanity oh shit.

She looks around until she looks back in the bedroom and Phil is asleep great this is great. They hadn't slept together that was good okay she had just been hungover and slept over, right? She wants to figure out what had happened put the pieces together. "Phil- Phil." She calls out and when he doesn't stir so she walks over hitting his foot that's hanging off the side of the bed. "Phil wake up!"

He put his hands in his belt loops and rested them there for a minute before he pulled his jeans up a little. Even with a belt, Dodge, despite having muscles, was still lean and a bit of a twig. “Yeah, well, same goes for you. Never took you for a farmhand.”

“You were broken to begin with.”

Jess actually takes a step back. Those words hit him in all the places he hid from the world. It wasn’t like this was the first time he’d thought of the word when it came to himself. In fact, there were many times when he used it to blame himself for the shortcomings in his life. That didn’t stop the sting from hearing it from someone else, someone who he never thought he’d hear it from. A flash of mixed feelings, both originating from hurt caused within his origin, and anger that she could be so judgmental.  “Oh yeah?” No, it wasn’t smart for him to argue with her- not after finding out what she was. What she was capable of. Not that that, was what had caused this... misdirection. 

“And what’s your excuse? You’ve had centuries to figure your shit out, and you’re still just.. MEAN.” No, that wasn’t all she was. Jess had seen the other side of her. The girl that wanted to fit in, that wanted to love, but when you got down to it, they were both way too scared.

“Why couldn’t you of just left me alone? Why’d you have to bring me into this?”
