The boys were so excited to help make Christmas cookies this year. I hadn’t made any from scratch in at least 7 years. • The boys did a great job waiting for me to roll out the dough. They also did a great job with the sprinkles even thougg I am certain they ate far more than what ended up on the cookies. • Then I messed up the directions. I encountered problems. Many of the cookies were broken. • The boys didn’t care. They each picked a cookie for Santa and began to eat a few for themselves. • Don’t you wish you could see things so clearly? Don’t sweat the small stuff when plenty is going well. You’ll break some cookies in life. Just try not to miss the whole, unbroken cookies.
