I feel like the painkillers I've been taking today can't decide whether to target my broken elbow or my pounding headache, and are thus doing neither
I fell while skating the other day and broke my ulna right at the elbow in such a way that the ulnar nerve - aka the 'funny bone' - is constantly being hit, and it is genuinely 100x worse than every other break I've ever had.
Not only is the pain of the break itself WAY worse than even when I snapped three ribs (from coughing so hard when I had pneumonia for six months) And having to deal with the itchy uncomfortableness of a cast is a new and horrible experience. But EVERY single time something jostles my arm, that stupid nerve gets hit yet again! All the way from my finger tips to the opposite shoulder have been wracked with that terrible tingly sensation for over fifty two hours, and I seriously hate everything* about this situation
(*Other than the fact that as we fell I managed to twist and pull the 10yo sister I was skating with so that she landed on top of me rather than the other way around. That would have been worse)
