Well it finally happened. I am 30. I have to say I did not think this is where I would be at in my life by the time I reached 30. I thought that I would have more figured out by now, My career, a home, a family of my own, and all those things that most of my peers have already attained. Don't get me wrong, I am beyond blessed and have way more then I certainly deserve. It's that I had misconceptions about where I should be at and that can certainly be frustrating. So for 30 I am throwing out the book and Changing my mindset. 29 was a very difficult year for me. It was riddled with uncertainty, sadness, anger, doubt, fear, regret, and desperation. I refuse to let 30 be that way. I am stronger, bolder, smarter, and more certain in what I want more than ever. So to the fear I had in turning 30, I turn and say good riddance to my 20's. "For I know the plans I have for you declares the lord..." Jeremiah 29:11. I feel greatness is my destiny, and it is God who will lead me there. Bring 30 on! - Thank you to all who have gotten me this far in life. I certainly am not strong enough to go on this journey alone. There are people who care and there are people who carry. You have carried me beyond what I ever deserved.
