It is very much known in some circles that the royal family has been divided across a simple line since the 90s. One group, we can call group Wales. This group consists of Charles, Camilla, Anne, William, Anne's children and husband, and in more recent times, Edward and Sophie. Most courtiers prefer working with this group. The other group, York, consists of Andrew, his daughters who mostly stay out of the shenanigans, his former wife, Harry, the ex Princess of Wales and fringe members of the family upset with their position (I think they need to introduction).
Harry used to consider Andrew a second father after his mother died. They went on vacation together, Beatrice and Eugenie stated that in the case something happened to Andrew, Harry would be the one to walk them down the aisle, Eugenie wanted him to be a godfather to little August. Beatrice planned a smaller, intimate wedding before the virus in the Chapel Royal and Harry was supposed to participate in her wedding somehow, as he was supposed to participate in the wedding of Eugenie as an usher.
Now, you're probably wondering,how did they fall through?
Harry married a version Fergie with a dash of Princess Michael on meth. She bullied the York girls, especially Eugenie around the wedding, banned Anne's granddaugthers from being bridesmaids, she got into a fight over jewelry with William and that was not even in the first year.
Then, the Gloucesters considered briefly moving to the country and Meghan harpied to get apartment A or Diana's old apartments because she saw certain pieces from the royal collection she wanted placed in her household so she can merch clothes, home deco and products off them. The Gloucesters couldn't move in the end and Meghan nearly snapped.
Then came the staff bullying. Meghan, who likes to play a liberal is horribly prejudiced against gay people, gay men especially. There are gay employees she has been using slurs for berrating them. Or maybe there was just one. William didn't just kick them out. He put on a crown and fired them from being senior royals. The Queen stated that she wanted to downscale their engagemets, especially hers, until they are reduced to private citizens, but she pulled megxit to one up the family. The entire story about her mental health and palace leaks has been a lie. The person responsible for the covering up of Meghan's treatment of staff is not Charles, but Andrew. He paid off many of the staff Meghan tortured and bellitled with money from a source I would not like to name. In the end, Andrew couldn't kill the story and this is why there were leaks everywhere. He distanced himself from Meghan because she was too much even for him. This is why they haven't trash talked Andrew. He burried her skeletons,not just those in the palace, but beyond.
Now, there is one person that both Wales and York like and that would be Catherine Cambridge. She is much more powerful because both parties listen to her and believe her. Catherine is the glue that holds that mess together and this is why Harry hopes to rebuild a relationship with her, not William. That bridge is burned forever. We've seen some positive PR regarding her lately, but we still haven't seen the biggest thing she has been preparing for this year.
