God speaks to each of us as he makes us, then walks with us silently out of the night.

These are the words we dimly hear:

You, sent out beyond your recall, go to the limits of your longing. Embody me.

Flare up like a flame and make big shadows I can move in.

Let everything happen to you: beauty and terror. Just keep going. No feeling is final. Don’t let yourself lose me.

Nearby is the country they call life. You will know it by its seriousness.

Living With Love

“Yet we have this assurance: Those who belong to God will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For God's light of life will fall like dew on his people in the place of the dead!”  Isa 26:19NLT

The Carter Family wrote, ‘The Meeting In The Air.’ “There is going to be a meeting in the air In the sweet, sweet bye and bye I am going to meet you, meet you over there In that home beyond the sky Such singing you will hear never heard by mortal ear 'Twill be glorious, I do declare And God's own son will be the leading One At the meeting in the air”

Where will this meeting be? Heaven, of course! Cinderella’s castle can’t hold a candle to heaven. Let’s take a peak: “ The wall was made of jasper, …the city was pure gold, as clear as glass. The wall of the city was built on foundation stones inlaid with twelve precious stones: the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. The twelve gates were made of pearls—each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure gold, as clear as glass. I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. …the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, …the Lamb is its light.” Rev 21:18-23NLT 

There’s no doubt in my mind— heaven will be an mind-overload. These last few years, I’ve rode through every western state and mountain ranges, Yosemite and Yellowstone National parks, Mounts Hood and Shasta’s pristine grandeur, waterfalls, canyons, Tahoe and many other lakes, Appalachian Mountains from Quebec Canada to Georgia, the Atlantic, Pacific, plus the Gulf of Mexico. Sights so beautiful, they overcome your emotions, almost taking your breath away. Seeing these beauties, praises always comes to God for creating everything for our pleasure. Once, as I praised Him, He spoke into my spirit. “You haven’t seen anything yet. I saved the best for eternity.”

What will heaven be like? No one has described heaven more completely than John’s Revelation. I can only describe what won’t be there. No sin, sorrow, hate, woes, sickness, shame, pain, heartbreak, tears, death, addictions, regrets, terrorists or evil in any form. Only holiness will be allowed in heaven. Heb 12:14NIV “…without holiness no one will see the Lord.” 

Jesus said it this way: “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water’” Jn 7:23NASB. The way to achieve holiness is BELIEVING IN JESUS. Allowing His life to change you from the inside out. Everything the Living Water touches is cleansed effortlessly. 

We know from our text scripture every servant of God, living or dead will be taken alive to heaven. Living with Love-Papa God. Seeing His face. Gazing on my beloved Jesus’ face. Spending eternity searching out every facet of God’s love, while in perfect health and peace— this is my life goal. 

Many don't believe in heaven. Some don’t want to go such a ‘boring place’ with no excitement. There only one other place to go— hell. Which camp are you in? Heaven bound? Or Hell bound? It’s your choice. You choose.  

PRAYER: Father God thank You for planning a way for us to live with You in heaven. Help us to allow Your life to flow through us, in Jesus’ name I pray.
