Oho, what's this? Kitty Pryde saved the Earth by making a giant bullet that was fired at it intangible. Unfortunately, she's been trapped inside for a while in comic book time. Every expert was canvassed and nobody could get her out. Fortunately, it's metal.

Mags flashes back to when he was in space trying in vain to save mutants. Kitty and the bullet were detected, but they had other things to do. He uses that memory to get a better lock on the bullet.

Scott and Emma don't know what the crazy old man is doing. They can't touch him or read his mind.

Emma takes the time to psychoanalyse him a bit, explicitly comparing him and Scott. I think she's onto something here but I'll touch on that another time. The Magneto/Scott relationship is an interesting one that's only grown since then.

After a day or so, instruments start going off and it becomes clear what he's up to - bringing Kitty home. There's definitely tension, because it's Magneto, but they can't do much about it.

Colossus is speaking hyperbolically here - he knows what's happening it's just wild shit. A staggering display of power.

Holy cats indeed. (Who says that?) Motherfucker did it. Not only did he find the bullet in space but redirected it to Earth and dissipated it safely. Kitty wasn't 100% okay, but that wasn't his doing.

I don't care what these haters think, this was a great joke. Everyone knows Piotr grew up in an isolated Siberian commune in the USSR - he was always the least worldly of the 2nd generation of X-Men, blown away by things like cars, Spandex, capitalism, nudity and definitely anything supernatural or cosmic.
