Years ago the elbows gave way in my college hoodie and it was fraying all over the edges. Could I thow it out? Of course not. Yesterday it was reborn as funky beanies and little book bags and a couple fuzzy bean bags. At College of the Atlantic they offer only one degree, Human Ecology. It is an interdisciplinary approach to learning about ourselves, others, and the world we live in, both the natural part that is left and what we have done on (and to) the rest of it.
