i always hated stiles x lydia as a ship but now i actually find myself wishing it would happen :/
I ship them, but I also don't mind if they just stay friends.
Even if Stiles had another romance that wasn't Lydia, I would have been okay with it if there was explanation and development, but with Malia there is nothing there but a random thing thrown at us and forced down our throats.
Stalia was doomed from the start because Jeff Davis wanted to make a sex scene between them in the eichen house... I'm so glad that didn't happen, but I'm still like what to heck.

Exactly! It makes no sense and I read somewhere that someone said that over the 2 months span between the last season and this season (in the show) Stiles and Malia got really close because he was teaching her how to act human or something, but Jeff Davis doesn't understand - you can't just fast forward and show none of that because it just looks silly and doesn't make sense to viewers.
We just have to accept it because we're just the viewers, we're not the ones writing the show, but you can't just skip to 2 months later when there's hardly any friendship or anything between Malia and Stiles in the first place.
Jeff Davis is way too confident in the fan base because he knows enough people will stick around to get views and more seasons. It's kind of insulting the fans in a way because he thinks they're stupid and don't see his mistakes and errors.
