These Bourbon Brat Skewers are a perfect combination of savory bratwurst infused with the rich flavors of bourbon and a touch of smokiness. Grilled to perfection, they make a delicious and unique addition to your BBQ repertoire.
Ingredients: 1 lb bratwurst sausages, cut into bite-sized pieces. 1/2 cup bourbon. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tbsp Dijon mustard. 2 tbsp brown sugar. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp smoked paprika. 1/2 tsp black pepper. Wooden skewers, soaked in water.
Instructions: Bourbon, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, minced garlic, smoked paprika, and black pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl to make the marinade. Put the bratwurst pieces in a shallow dish or a plastic bag that can be closed again. Spread the marinade out evenly over the bratwurst as you pour it on. Put it in the fridge for at least an hour or overnight to make the flavor better. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Stick pieces of bratwurst that have been marinated on the wet wooden skewers. Bratwurst should be cooked all the way through and have a nice char after 10 to 12 minutes of grilling, turning the skewers every now and then. For extra flavor, baste the food with more marinade while it's cooking. Give these Bourbon Brat Skewers a try while they're still hot.
