(  well  now  i  just  want  to  turn  this  into  an  aerith  beach  head  canon,  so  WELCOME  to  mama  ari's  head  canon:  aerith  +  beach  time  !  )

aerith  is  the  kind  of  cutie  patootie  that  she  rushes  to  the  beach  to  find  the  best  place  to  set  up  umbrellas  and  spread  out  towels/blankets.   nothing  too  close  to  heavy  foot  traffic  areas:  ex;   bathrooms,   refreshment  stations,   garbage  and  recycling  spots  …  and  nothing  too  close  to  the  beach  where  they'll  be  in  other  people's  beach  photos  !   she  will  always  volunteer  to  haul  a  tote  or  wagon  down  to  the  beach  before  anyone  else,   not  wanting  someone  to  steal  their  spot.

she  is  big  on  making  sure  everyone  keeps  up  with  their  sunscreen,   including  advocating  for  herself  and  getting  others  to  help  her  reach  those  hard-to-get  places.   and  if  she  hears/sees  anyone  who  doesn't  care  about  protecting  themselves  from  the  uv  rays  …  she  will  go  above  their  wishes  and  start  lathering  them  up,  telling  them  they'll  thank  her  when  they  aren't  looking  like  a  wrinkly  raisin  years  down  the  line.

depending  where  they  are,  aerith  goes  between  a  pondskater  who  stays  against  the  surface  of  the  water  …  or,  will  deep  dive  and  try  to  find  treasures  deep  within  the  ocean.   if  she  sees  someone  offering  scuba  diving:   she's  racing  to  get  to  the  front  of  the  line,  wanting  to  explore  and  see  if  she  can  help  clean  up  the  reefs  while  she's  down  there  !   but,   if  they're  at  a  local  beach,   with  just  the  water  as  their  entertainment,   she  won't  be  swimming  far  out  where  other's  can't  see  her.   close  to  home,   close  to  the  shore.

call  her  a  bower  bird  bc  this  girl  does  walk  along  the  sand  looking  for  shiny  shells  or  trinkets  to  bring  home  to  elmyra  !   because  what  a  thrill  of  searching  the  fine  sand  and  discovering  a  spiral  shell,   or  a  conus  shell  !   she  may  also  find  something  that  reminds  her  of  your  muse  and  then  keep  it  safe  until  she  can  gift  it  to  them.   she  will  also  clean  up  any  trash  as  it  comes  into  her  line  of  sight,   wanting  to  keep  the  beach  clean  for  everyone  to  enjoy  !

inside  a  cooler  packed  by  aerith  you'll  find:   water,   strawberry  iced-tea,   aloe  vera  for  any  potential  sunburns,   sliced  fruit  specifically  pineapple,   watermelon,   strawberries,   cherries,   and  some  mixed  nuts.   unless  it's  discussed  they're  having  a  meal  like  lunch  or  dinner,   she  wants  to  try  whatever  restaurants  are  near  by,   and  hope  they  offer  vegetarian  options  !   annnndd  if  not  going  out  for  food,   whipped  feta  pasta  salad  is  a  yummy  lake-side  meal  !

This one's easy. There are a couple of blogs I've been championing ... (゜-゜) but too anxiety to reach out.

Sinna's incredible Sephiroth ( @serapime ). The amount of love and effort he put into her backstory / creation (hah) is incredible. It's like I'm sitting in a room with the actual Sephiroth. I'm genuinely not sure how my Clive could compare.

@braskide is another mun I'm nervous around. Muna (such a cute alias btw) very clearly loves Yuna so much, and they're so funny, too. Though, I'm going to admit something sacrilege : I've never beaten ffx. I don't know Yuna very well, which means I'm paralyzed when it comes to plotting lol. Oooops.

Let the man speak. ❝We're lambs sent to slaughter, all of us. All of you, you watching this. Don't you people, like, see that? Don't you? They distract us with blitzball and the temples acting like they care. Like prayer matters. They don't care about any of us. Half of my family is dead. But, they're looking at me like I'm a disgrace because I dropped my pilgrimage. Praise be to Yevon, they say. They make us dependent on hymns and trying to be morally right or whatever. To follow scripture and be scared. Isn't that, like, you know, like really messed up? Be pure, keep your head down. If you die, it's all in the divine plan.

Bevelle is the pinnacle of this. A city for the purest. All of those phony monks and their cronies. Isn't it super obvious—?! They want Spira to suffer, so they can stay in power. They want to keep creating summoners to screw over. They want terrified, pious devotees. They don't want us to be free from Sin. They don't! The Maesters don't care. They never will. I think nothing of Bevelle except the worst. I hope they all drown in the grief they've put us through. Prayers aren't gonna save us. Letting our religious leaders guide us will send us into even more turmoil.

The Maesters deliberately fan the flames of their hatred towards the Al Bhed to create a common enemy and a scapegoat for Spira's problems and Bevelle's hypocrisy. They have the absolute gall to label an entire race dangerous simply for refusing to accept the lies that prop up Yevon's power. The teachings against machina make the Al Bhed easy targets, distracting the population from Bevelle's issues. Do you want another thousand of this madness?! By the way, Maester Mika can kiss my a—❞

*rubs  my  hands  together  like  a  little  fly*   oh  moonie  ???  miss  muna  ???  where  do  i  even  begin?

i  acknowledge  my  time  socializing  on  discord/through  tumblr  has  been  miniscule  with  the  craziness  of  toddlers/previously  infants,  but  the  times  where  muna  and  i  have  been  able  to  sit  down  and  yap  have  been  some  of  the  best  conversations  i've  had  where  i'm  grinning  ear  to  ear  .  .  .  because  we  mutually  are  gushing  about  a  video  game  title  we  absolutely  adore.  (  and  i  don't  wanna  put  words  in  munie's  mouth  but  arguably  my  favourite  ff  title,  and  hers  too  )  yuna  is  such  a  cherished  character  to  muna  and  it  really  does  show  through  her  verses,  her  character  study  and  portrayal,  but  most  importantly,  the  inner  monologue  and  thought  process  of  our  beloved  high  summoner. 

sometimes  yuna  is  given  the  title  as  strong,  but  quiet.  determined,  but  apprehensive  .  .  .  and  i  really  do  just  fall  to  my  knees  and  bow  down  to  muna  for  portraying  yuna  so  accurately.  from  mannerisms,  to  dialog,  to  her  unwavering  determination  to  do  whats  right  for  spira  even  if  it  challenges  her  to  go  against  everything/everyone  who  tries  to  stand  in  her  path.  I  SIMPLY  WORSHIP  MUNA  THE  SAME  WAY  CIVILIANS  IN  FFX  IDOLIZE  THEIR  SUMMONER(S).  and  moving  onto  the  topic  of  how  she  plots  with  others  ???  in  my  experiences  it's  just  been  so  much  fun  because  we  truly  just  scream  at  the  top  of  our  lungs,  shake  each  other  about,  and  find  these  alternate  (uni)verses  that  bring  so  much  emotion  and  resolve  to  the  surface  ???   

i  highly  recommend  that  if  you're  looking  to  find  a  reason  to  follow  muna  /  @braskide  .  .  .  that  you  just  simply  do  it,  because  you  won't  regret  it.  that  following  and  interacting  with  muna  feels  like  reuniting  with  a  childhood  best  friend,  and  creating  a  friendship  with  her  is  as  easy  as  asking  someone  to  play  with  you  in  the  mcdonalds  play space.  only  this  time,  you  don't  part  ways  and  never  see  each other  again  —  –  you've  made  a  friend  for  life.  𐔌՞  ܸ.ˬ.ܸ՞𐦯

he  does  not  belong  in  this  world  ;  he  hardly  belongs  in  this  body  .  this  body  ,  that  wretches  and  grieves  with  burning  eyes  and  shaking  hands  .  nothing  will  ever  be  the  same  .  yuna  stands  at  length  behind  him  as  he  watches  the  tides  shift  against  the  rocks  of  the  shore  ;  rolling  ,  pushing  ,  waves  flowing  endlessly  ,  and  he's  not  sure  how  they  keep  pushing  despite  it  all  .  oh  ,  to  have  the  endurance  of  the  ocean  .  eternally  drowning  ,  eternally  trying  to  survive  .  he's  sure  they  both  feel  the  intensity  that  exists  within  their  shared  humid  air  ,  and  a  single  tear  sheds  from  his  eye  as  he  stares  upon  the  darkened  horizon  with  the  bitterness  of  a  fallen  angel  locked  out  of  paradise  . 

one  step  ,  two  ;  he  feels  the  woman  close  in  behind  him  ,  and  he  jolts  gently  to  the  brush  of  her  fingers  upon  his  shoulder  .  he  does  not  move  ,  however  ,  does  not  shift  to  meet  her  eyes  ,  just  continues  glaring  into  the  rest  of  eternity  .  when  will  they  meet  the  end  of  suffering  ?  even  in  the  calm  of  what  once  was  ,  he  finds  them  both  in  the  eye  of  the  storm  ,  watching  everything  crumble  around  them  .  while  the  war  is  won  ,  the  memories  live  on  like  a  haunting  possession  of  the  mind  .  everything  he  has  known  for  so  long  comes  tumbling  down  ,  and  he  feels  he  must  sit  in  the  pit  of  destruction's  creation  before  gifting  himself  the  sanctuary  of  reconstruction  .

yuna  moves  closer  ,  her  arm  snaking  about  his  neck  ,  her  head  leaned  softly  atop  his  own  .  he  frowns  in  his  despair  ,  but  he  prefers  her  touch  to  nothing  .  it  reminds  him  that  his  heart  is  not  nothingness  ;  the  sparks  he  feels  exist  even  if  they  die  as  quickly  as  they  come  .  this  numbness  ,  he  hopes  ,  will  one  day  collapse  just  as  his  strength  does  when  he  leans  into  her  embrace  for  comfort  .
