Spamtonās family for my Royal Caretaker AU! His siblings are quadruplets and then heās the baby (and is, of course, super pissed as to why EVERYONE IN HIS FAMILY IS TALL EXCEPT HIM.) His siblings are all successful business people, and he felt like he could never live up to that, which is why he turned to scamming. In reality, his family was super supportive, but he justā¦didnāt see that? Itās like that scene from Meet The Robinsons (āHey Goob! Wanna come over to my house today?ā āThey all *hated* me >:(ā)
When he was trying to become a Royal Scientist, he dropped his last name (Addison) and went with just Spamton. Nothing else. He didnāt want to be associated with his family (despite them actually being nice people) and also didnāt want to have to live up to the name.
After the core incident, and Spamton becoming the undergroundās new elusive ratman, the Addisons would sometimes run into him. Theyād stare at each other with a mutual hint of recognition in their eyes before Spamton would run away. His pride was too great to try and get help from his family, and also he was pretty ashamed of what he had done.
But in a Pacifist (below ground) route, he dons the green pants again (his family loves green pants?) and reconnects with his family. He also reconnects with them on a True Pacifist (above ground) route, but he has different clothes since heās running a childrenās show with Tenna.
