Luciano was waiting for Afonso to freak out when he saw the photos. Alejandro's Insta was like shrine of their weekend together, with pics of every single kiss they had shared along with some very sexy pics of them in the beach.

"Ah... He finally confessed," Afonso said, scrolling down the photos.

"He did. I wasn't expecting it at all. Did you know?"

"I suspected it. I saw the away he looks at you."

Luciano waited for Afonso to say something else, but he just turned off his phone.

"Aren't you going to say anything?" Luciano finally asked.

"Like what, Luciano? Don't see him again? Or ask if he's better than me? I can't ask you that, can I? Not without sounding like an hypocrite."

Luciano pressed his lips. "Nothing is going to change between us, Afonso."

Afonso sighed. "It will."

Luciano frowns "what do you mean?"

"For starter" Afonso says "your public definitely likes him better than me."

"No, they don't!"

"You don't wanna see the DMs I got recently."

Luciano's gaze made Afonso regret saying that

"I will deal with this later."

"Stop" Afonso intervenes "I don't want you and your team of doxers into this. Besides, are you up to tell your own people that they don't have right to be mad at me just because we are dating?"

Luciano doesn't answer

"Yeah, that's what I thought. Another thing is that Alejandro can give you what you can't get from me, stability."

"I'm over it, Afonso. I don't need a ring."

"It's more than marriage, Luciano"

Luciano takes his hand and kisses his knuckles "my heart is big enough for both of you. I will have a talk with Alejandro about those pics, okay?"
