my mouth hurts SO BAD

so i just doubled up on elastics (for my overbite) for the first night and hoo boy its tight. its tight to the point where its making it a little hard to talk
//First few days with braces. My front teeth hurt.. badly. They’re so stupidly sensitive. If I touch anything with them, which includes other teeth, my toothbrush, floss, FOOD, I feel massive pain. This doesn’t apply to the back teeth but it’s still bothersome. The last meals I had were just me scooping up food and shoving the food towards the back teeth. I was lucky the food that my parents made me were easy to deal with (rice, macoroni ,Noodles). I don’t think big bulky school food would be the same.. Does anyone know how to deal with this problem or is this another “Get used to it” problem?
10 minutes later: One of the front teeth is wiggling. IS IT SUPPOSED TO WIGGLE?
