gojo as a (single?) dad with a newborn
– despite gojo being the loud dork we all know, he gets pretty quiet whenever he holds his newborn
– he coos softly at the tiny baby wrapped in a blanket, watching it yawn
– he sits down on the couch in the living room, the lights low, the fireplace nicely lit
– he has a blanket for himself within reach
– but for now he opts to just spread himself comfortably on the cushions, lulling the baby with soft sways nad hums
– as the baby yawns, gojo has this little smile on his lips and his beautiful eyes are full of admiration
– he reaches to the coffee table for the pacifier he prepared earlier, gently slipping it into the newborn’s mouth and his hand softly traces the white fuzzy hair away
– gojo can’t seem to calm down his frail heart as it thumps against his rib cage, full of love and simple excitement for his child
– he lets his head fall back, resting it against the couch once the babe has fallen asleep, nuzzling itself closer to his warm chest
– and he can’t shake off the sleepy smile off his face, piercing blue eyes closing as he breaths out a soft sigh
– he loves the babe dearly, a tight pang in his chest when he thinks of how the baby is gonna grow up
– this brand new dad is crazy obsessed with skin to skin, parading around his apartment shirtless with the babe at his pecks, big hands supporting the head and the neck as he playfully dances to the song on the radio, loud smooch to the chubby cheeks
– preparing a bottle is a hassle, he’s constantly checking the ratio of formula to water, nervously biting his lip as the babe latches onto the bottle nip because what if he got it wrong and the babes gonna get sick due to malnutrition?
– his least favorite part is the spit up, often times making him gag, but the idea of leaning back on the couch, softly patting the tiny baby’s back to burp it, as it gently holds onto his shirt or hair, it’s just something he anticipates after each meal
– changing the diaper doesn’t phase him, although he makes a funny face at the smell, yet coos at the babe, playing with its tiny little feet, tempted to tickle them
– overall, he’s sometimes clumsy, dropping bottles and pacifiers, struggling with the baby powder, sometimes not being able to differentiate the cries or not being able to comfort the babe instantly
– but all the love that he has to give fixes all those small mistakes
