Day 6 of Rare Pair Week: heroism/hero vs villain + canon divergence

It twists into a little bonsai tree with leaves the color of Tenko’s hair. “Ta-da!” Yurika cheers, picking up the pot and holding it out to him. “Woah…” Tenko reaches out to touch the leaves. “It’ll stay small forever, but you still have’ta water it, ‘kay?”

I've been in a massive art block and so I decided to redraw one of my old Shiggy pieces!
Shigaraki: "I feel like...there's nothing that can stop me now. As long as I keep...my dreams...my origin...within my heart."
BNHA frequently calls back to characters’ origin, but until Act Two it was a theme exclusive to its most determined hero characters. Once the story passed the act that depicted heroism as fantasy, Act Two described the reality of heroism - a reality where villains may also find the determination to achieve their dreams from their origin. Shigaraki consistently failed to achieve most of his goals in Act One in part because he lost sight of his origin. Act Two Shigaraki’s arc involved reconnecting with his origin and finding his own dream. He mostly succeeded in his endeavors after finding his goal and origin until he was possessed by All for One’s larger scheme. However, even then Shigaraki wasn’t fully consumed solely because he gripped on to his origin as Shimura Tenko.
