a/n: idk anything about boxing but i wanted to write this! based on this tiktok
you feel all the energy around the boxing ring. the yells of excitement coming from the men and women standing around you. you also shake with excitement and adrenaline, you usually stay away from things like this. you knew nothing about boxing but you promised remus youโd come and watch his match.
you couldnโt help but be worried. even though youโre shaking with anticipation to see remus box, youโve seen remusโ bruises and scars from boxing, youโve even helped him patch a few minor injuries. you have no idea how this fight could go. youโre sure remus will win, but he could still get badly injured.
you watch in silence as remus and the other boxers make their way into the boxing ring. the crowd grows louder, chanting the two boxers' names. egging them on. the crowd dies down for a bit watching with wild eyes as the fight starts, but quickly everyone escalates when remus throws in the first punch.
the fighting continues, remus has taken a few blows so far. heโs been hit right under his eye which you know will leave a small bruise. but he doesnโt seem too worried about it. continuing to hit his opponent, harder hoping to leave some mark. remus hits the other boxer right on his left cheek, you watch as he stumbles back, his hand touches his face, and heโs bleeding a small bit. he quickly drops his hand and moves in towards remus, to take a blow at remus.
your eyes widen at the sight of remusโ opponent raising his fist at remusโ jaw, hitting him in the mouth. remus spins around to the audience from the hit, his knees buckle a little. but he quickly regains his composure, standing to his full height. he makes eye contact with you. you didnโt realize how close you were to the boxing ring. but you donโt mind when remus wobbly walks over to you. he delicately places his hands on your neck, and bends his head reaching in for a kiss. itโs short and quick, but itโs sweet. you canโt help but feel a little woozy when he pulls back.
โthanks for kissing it better, sweetheart.โ you canโt help but swoon at remusโ words. he smiles, his lips are busted and heโs bleeding a bit. you canโt help but stare at remus, heโs too attractive at this moment you decide. he canโt help but let out a breathless laugh while wiping the blood from his lips. he smiles once more bearing his teeth to you before he turns his back to you, lifting his fist to cover his face as he moves back to his opponent. you hope he wins this match just so you can congratulate him with a kiss.
