5mm Cork Sheet | Box #002 TheWrappingProject.Com
box²
This is an iteration/experiment of the physical box that I had started with. This was the Chrysanthemum Tetra Pak that I had started with and I had the idea/experiment to turn it inside out and see if it still held the same structural integrity that it did when it was normal (solid state).
So I turned it inside out and saw that it was raw in form and that it was blank. I saw the beauty inside of it that this material was almost similar to 3M when light was flashed upon it; a material that I fancy quite abit. I turned the box pretty easily inside out and taped it up on the crucial sides so that it would close up and hoped for the best.
I poured water inside it and for a second it worked. Water actually stayed inside there and I could actually drink out of it, but then when i progressively poured more and more into it, it gave in and the water went everywhere. (refer to other video on blog).
I guess the beauty that I saw within this box is the rawness and the fact that all Tetra Pak’s are the same inside. The material itself is beautiful and is pretty much waterproof on both sides because it was made to hold liquid. The deeper meaning I obtain from this through self reflection is that it isn’t just aesthetically pleasing but it shows the raw form when we flesh ourselves out and show our insides. Inside is more beautiful and we’re all pretty much the same.
