honestly a little embarrassed to be brought out of my hiatus by tall, handsome actor with dimples and a personality so charming it makes me feral... but we move! bf!Cameron who's an all in kind of individual, pouring everything he can offer into the things that matter. his time, his energy, his thought, these are important facets of himself he's only ever saved for football... and you.
bf!Cameron who still isn't even sure how exactly you did it. you cracked his exterior and wormed your way into his heart, making yourself at home so definitively that he feels his love for you in his chest like a constant weight.
bf!Cameron who analyses you like the sport that rules his life, cataloguing everything that makes you tick. your likes, your dislikes, your comfort movies and favourite foods, your favourite colour and flower, your dream date and dream vacation destination, all in an effort to be the best boyfriend he possibly can be, simply because he believes you deserve the very best from him.
bf!Cameron who takes that same methodical mentality into the bedroom. learning which spots to hit, where to kiss, which spots to circle with his tongue, to get you lost in pleasure and digging into his biceps or back with your nails (because it's the best kind of pain) he knows your body inside and out, loves it too. and he makes sure to leave you weightless and satisfied when his schedule allows it.

bf!Cameron who has a bit of a problem with being protective and jealous. it's a streak, a well established pattern of behaviour that he cannot shake. whenever he has you as his plus one at an event, more formal or casual like a house party, his gaze is strictly on you, or squinted in judgement to anyone who would dare try to put moves on you. and even if you believe that one of his peers is just being friendly and try to communicate that with him to quell his protectiveness, he hits you with the ol "you don't know these guys like I do, baby."
bf!Cameron who gets into a mood sometimes where not even you can get through to him. every so often, the late nights training and working to be better lead him down a path of pushing himself to an extreme that he knows you wouldn't approve of, so he soft avoids you and isolates himself to put in the work without distraction. you've realised that chasing him down and trying to get through to him during these moods is a waste of energy and words, but that doesn't make it any easier to just sit there while he destroys himself for the love of the game.
bf!Cameron who jumps from obsession to obsession, if we're being honest. once he's out of his hardworking fog, he's immediately locked onto reconciling with you. your favourite flowers, your favourite meal perfectly recreated by a private chef, a fun but not needed item you'd been on the fence about buying on the couch, his eyes locked on you with a focus that took your breath away, and his arms wrapped around your waist as he mumbled apologies, face nuzzling against your stomach.
bf!Cameron who's honestly going through a lot, mentally and physically. the weight of expectations and legacy and passion and sacrifice, all swirling around in his head and forming a storm he's supposed to just brave and walk through and come out with no damage on the other side. but he really does love you, and God help him, he tries his best to show you that whenever he can.
