That he not only changed the Underworld to suit her needs but also the homes they have in the mortal realm. Despite him being the King of the Underworld, the self-proclaimed Lord of the Dead, Persephone has more influence on him than most would think.

Their relationship at first was rocky, because Persephone felt she was there solely for his pleasure and benefit, but the more they got to know each other, the more Persephone got past his walls and saw the man beneath the status of a god. Their love for one another is just as strong, if not stronger, than Zeus and Hera's.
