When I was a kid I used to like the house-building part of The Sims, but I found the actual "life" part frustrating because it seemed to me that the in-game time ran too quickly relative to how long it took the Sims to do stuff. I would fill my Sim's house with all sorts of cool stuff but they'd never have time to use any of it because they were so busy going through the cook-eat-clean-bathe-sleep cycle and trying to keep all their little levels above 0.
Then I became an adult and realized that's just what life is actually like.
