Time for real changes
I think I’ve finally hit a point where I’m willing to make some real changes in my life and also I feel motivated to do this. From now on I’m officially trying to quit smoking (it’s gonna be my 3rd serious attempt, last 2 lasted for some months then I went back and now I want to quit for good, forever).
It’s not gonna be an easy time for me so I’ve decided also to adjust my lifestyle (I mean fitness routine and diet) so it won’t be too hard at the start.Â
So also I’m officialy aiming to build some muscles and not reduce my body fat this time - it is my first attempt.
                                              The plan
1. No smoking allowed - no matter what happens, it gives me no good, no matter if i’m stressed or scared or carelessly happy.
2. Daily routine of mindfullness - it means no eating in front of TV/telephone or doing mindless scrolling for some time. I accept some time for memes everyday as I really love memes but my mindless-stressy scrolling needs to stop, for real.
3. Healthy amount of workouts - I’ve planned to participate in 21days Chloe Ting’s get fit challenge
5. A lot of good calories (and also some snacky calories) - I aim to eat at least 2000 calories for some time so I can build some muscle mass. Treats are good as I need to break a smoking habit.
6. Everyday calming habits - I want to include variety of things (of course not all in one day) like: taking relaxing walks, doing a lot of self-care (related to looks and body), stretching, meditating, reading books that I have on my shame-shelf.
It is a lot and really not a lot at the same time. Hope it will work out. Day one is ahead. If you got any useful tips on quitting smoking - let me know
