Kajika frowned from her place near the food table as she scanned the costumed figures chatting amicably to each other or helping themselves to the snacks available. She, as well as the rest of Brieve, had all been invited to attend the annual costume party and while she couldn’t complain that the decorations weren’t suited to the occasion the music left much to be desired.

Tapping her chin idly as she thought of a way to rectify the situation, her silver orbs suddenly brightened as she thought of the perfect song to bring some life into the party. Without further hesitation, she skipped across the room until she reached the person who had been put in charge of the music and leaned in closer to excitedly whisper her request.

Hands raised in the claw position, it was with near synchronised movement that the crowd danced the popular steps. Seeing everyone enjoying themselves this way certainly made Kajika glad that she had decided to step in and do something.You hear the door slam and realize there’s nowhere left to runYou feel the cold hand and wonder if you’ll ever see the sunYou close your eyes and hope that this is just imagination, girlBut all the while you hear the creature creepin’ up behindYou’re out of time
