Happy Saturday! I am exhausted. The start of the school year has hit me like that school bus hit Regina George in Mean Girls. I am spending some time today catching up on grading to hopefully relieve my mind of all the things it needs to do. 👩🏻‍🏫 The thing keeping me going is that hopefully I will be adopting a dog that I fell in love with on an animal shelter website tomorrow. My husband has been away camping since Wednesday or we would have already gone. 😂 I am nervous though, they are having an animal adoption event today, is it mean to say 🤞🏻 I get him? I already renamed him in my mind and have been purchasing pet stuff all week. 😂😂. 📚 Hello Book Friends! I just devoured DEV1AT3 by Jay Kristoff. This is the second book in the series, and it did not disappoint. The first book ended with a cliff-hanger and the second book did the same thing. I cannot wait to read the third book. DEV1AT3 is the story of Lemon Fresh and where she ends up after left Eve in Babel. We discover more about her and her power while we continue to follow Eve and her new alliance with Gabriel. The story is filled with tension, battles, and discovery. If you have not read this awesome YA series yet, do not hesitate.
