It’s the cookbooks I got my parents

As I’ve written before, I am reducing my library BUT I am having trouble finding good homes for my books. The things I have tried so far either didn’t work or are way too slow for my liking (the goal is to reduce my library, not separate it into “books I am keeping” and “books I am storing”). I really don’t want to throw them away but I am not far from that point.

And then I thought of how I know a great community of book lovers from all over the world.

So here’s my newest idea: I am giving the books away - to you!

This is how I thought it would go:

You go through the list of books I am giving away

You write me a message with the book(s) you want and your home country

I will get back to you as soon as possible with the shipping costs

You then have ... let’s say 48 hours to respond and tell me if that is okay for you (during that time, the book(s) will be reserved for you)

You send me your postal address and I will send you my paypal details

You transfer the shipping costs to my paypal and I will ship the book(s).

Everybody is happy

Some additional notes: 

There is no limit to the number of books you want - except for your ability or willingness to pay for shipping.

The series I am only giving away as a package are all listed together (with a +), if books are in a separate line, they are given away seperately as well.

I will go to the post office on Fridays and Saturdays. I cannot promise to be able to ship on other days but I’ll try. I hope everything arrives before Christmas. 

It’s first come first served.

Also, if you want you could transfer a little bit of extra money for the book and packaging material (pay what you want) - but don’t feel obligated! I know the shipping can be quite a lot for some of you already.

Here’s some shipping costs to give you an idea: Germany: up to 500g = 1,00 Euro, up to 1kg = 1.65 Euro; international: up to 500g = 3.20 Euro, up to 1kg = 6 Euro (sadley, everything over 1 kg is really expensive because I have to ship with DHL)
