#book identification

Girl was overweight and wanted to get with her crush so got a job delivering cheesecakes by bike, assuming it’d help her lose weight.

Instead she ends up eating a lot of cheesecake and dating the baker who likes her as she is, with kittens.

I can only remember snippets, but like, it's about a boy with white hair (Important detail) who's the son of a clone and of a high ranking official. His birth was not supposed to be possible as clones are made sterile, but this guy was cloned before they made clones sterile. They're trying to find a home planet after their old one got destroyed (I think)

I don't remember this kids name, but it turns out he's the reincarnation of this other guy who was born in ancient times when magic powers were a thing. He was born to a low ranking earth guy (bc they were common?) and to a high ranking fire priest (BC they're rare. I think. Not 100% sure on that. His mother didn't want anyone to know otherwise she would have lost her place at the temple.)

And I remember him going through all these hoops, as his past iteration, to find his missing parent.

I think the end of the book is like, him finding the coordinates of that old planet and directing his spaceship colony to it Wall-E style??

I also think the old white haired kid had all the powers (Special white hair privileges) AtLA style but I'm not very sure. All I know for certain is that the kid had white hair, he was an impossible (or not allowed) birth, and had some funky memory shit going on. And that the Current White Hair was on a spaceship in need of a planet all sci-fi like while Past White Hair just wanted to find his parents so he could know why he was different.

I'm probably getting a lot wrong and/or mixing up books (This was a standalone but I could be mixing it with other series) but I'm really hoping anyone here can help me out a bit

need help finding a book that might not exist: recently hubby found a print-out of a book one of his dad's coworkers was writing in like the 90s. it has "GasLight Drives" and a giant worm that is eating the moon. there are 25 chapters printed out, but its definitely not finished. googling has not given any results. hubby asked a friend whose dad also worked with them, and neither can remember the guy's real name, but that he was called "moose" and everyone joked he should finish writing the book before he died. hoping he did and someone here will recognize it. unfortunately the printout has no name or even a working title on it.

For whatever reason my mind went to a book of ghost / scary stories that I read as a kid that I cannot for the life of me remember the title of.  It was in the same vein as Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, but the stories were all longer and more in depth, and it wasn’t the same author or series. I vaguely remember two of them:  1. The story took place somewhere in the south, in a Cypress swamp. I don’t remember much, except that there was a small group of friends, and they were told not go out into the swamp at night. I think it had something to do with an alligator?

2. There was a ski resort, and something happened to one of the cable cars. It was really gruesome, and I distinctly remember one of the characters in the story seeing injured people in the cable car before she even got onto it (i think in a premonition)... and so she didn’t take the first one, and opted for a second car, and when she got onto it, she started seeing people dressed the same way the injured people were dressed ... and the thing ended up crashing.  I need to know what this book is / was. I have been typing things into google for like a solid 20 minutes trying to figure it out. I THINK the cover was green, maybe with yellow or gold writing on it? 

I would have read this mid to late 90′s, so it would have had to be from before then...  If anyone can help, PLEASE DO. This is going to drive me nuts.

With some help and company from @raspberrymama​, I figured out that it’s this book - and the PDF was available online... so I’ve currently reliving my childhood at 2:38 am and reading about a spooky swamp and a ski accident. 

does ANYONE recognize this premise or these extremely bad from-vague-memory renditions of the covers

Not sure why, but I've recently started remembering a story I read as a kid. It's about a high school girl who's albino, and for Halloween, she dyes her hair, gets contacts, uses makeup and pantyhose to change her skin color, and wears her mom's old cheerleader uniform. She goes to a party, and is feeling "normal," accepted, pretty, until an older boy shows up to the party...with his skin painted white, a white wig, and a Mr Bubble t-shirt like one she wears often. She goes home in tears, and spends hours washing her hair trying to get the dye out.

I don't know if this was a smaller part of a larger story, or if it was in a collection of short stories. I've tried Google, but the problem is, when I put in the details I remember, I get "articles about albinism," "hot cheerleader costumes," "best Halloween costumes of 2018," "hair dye tips and tricks," etc.

I read this in the 1980s, so anything POST 1989 is too recent.

It was the last book in a series (I only read this one because I was inexplicably gifted only the concluding book for some reason???)

It had something to do with dragons/dragon blood and I remember some guy got a high off of drinking it because it made him feel stronger i guess

I remember some girl took a boat ride. I think her plot was concerned with stalking some thief guy associated with ravens and a magic instrument...?
