I finally finished the comic for this small scene of Simon looking for Baz when he was afraid. They sleeping in the same room was a goal by the time (🤫) and actually after two books I still found it as a very sweet moment, because that last line “than I have since winter break started” was Simon’s way to say “I’ve been missing you” and it was a total high point of feelings the first time I read Carry On.
So I finished Godsgrave the other night and wow that endingggg. I can’t. Mia is such a badass and I love her. This book was very different from the first but GOOD different. I loved how @misterkristoff used this book to show us a different class within the Nevernight world.
