#book code

have finally been persuaded to drop this beeheemoth of a book code! since it was originally created for WoO EU as a job application / staff book, it has a… lot of tabs. but oh well! i think it’s cute so eehee.

the version with dropdowns (shown in the video) has a total of 25 pages with 5 dropdown tabs! you can edit these to however many you need, i left a note at the top for how to do so, if you struggle then send me a msg

the version without dropdowns has just 5 buttons, with no dropdowns! just in case you wanted to use a 5-page book. you can also change the # of pages!

includes the design for an extra infobox inside of the main text area that you can use!

fully mobile-friendly which is always a bonus for sites, and rather cute on mobile if i say so :3 

could possibly be used as a club code, you would just need to change the overall width to 650px and the width of the buttons to 108px each

I am back from a vacation, a cold, and a very long dilemma (of deciding what to code) with... this!

It's a very overly-neat-newspaper coded design, and it can be used as both an article or a book. Essentially, it has a page system for books, and the comments (very extensively) explain how to remove the page-ification to turn it into an article.

It's extremely easy to use and edit:

Change three variables at the beginning of the CSS (the section in the markers) as explained in the comments to change the entire colour scheme

use tags to make things stand out or divide boxes into different sections, as explained in the comments

Also explained in the comments (how very surprising), is how the page and box system works (including the alternating sizes and how to override them)

If I missed anything, rest assured, they're explained in the comments :D

Working on a persnickety code though. It is inspired by a Greek goddess. I haven't done much to it, but here's what I have so far. I cannot decide whether to make it a book, backstory, or an article code... maybe you could help me decide? (Ignore the week x year x stuff, I copy pasted part of one of my codes as one does XD)

hey hey!! i made a staff book :eyes: because why not and i have A LOT of time to spare so here you go :) okay so in my previous post (the book code) i said to expect a staff book version- maybe, kinda, yep. so of course, here's the staff version but hogwarts/harry potter themed. why? because i'm biased. okay so a lil about the code: it has 6 pages (including the cover) and has titles on each page, space for MoM & HM and management as well as the HoH and limeys. OH! and we can't forget about the CEs. some of the pages- i can't remember which- have the overflow hidden (pls forgive my memory). i think it's the MoM and HM one but the ones that have more than 4 staff members should have auto overflow so dw about those ones. i put in only 8 limeys because hehe it's tiring but you can just c+p as much as you like. I'M NOT AN EXPERT so apologies if you have to play around with the margin-top a lot (SOB) to move the staff boxes down (you'll see what i'm talking about when you use it *cries*). i'll try to find a solution and post it- if not you can ask around but i'm very sure it's manageable :3 (trust me it's not hard- it just needs adjusting) anyways as always remember to keep the credits and have fun with it!

A code based off of Midnights, because why not? Inspired by @swiftieing101's codes. In case you were wondering, this is the code where I said f*** buttons.

The fontmeme titles are Droid sans bold with Gradient-H from #546187 to #7297AE, because I break stuff if I add CSS to it. Thankfully, the amazing @lanicodes was able to help me get through the buttons!
