The first game delivered on every promise and is SUCH a fascinating story involving such plot points as: There's Another World Apart From Earth And You're On It, Compete for the glory of becoming Very Important, Matriarchal Society!, Missing Children?, Murders?, Wtf Where Are Your Organs, That Man Is Hot, That Women Is Really Hot, and much more!

In all seriousness, the game is beautifully illustrated, very well written, and surprisingly interactive for a visual novel. There are many mysteries to uncover and if that wasn't enough, the soundtrack is amazing as well.

feeling like one of those ao3 fanfic writers returning to write another gut-wrenching chapter of their crackship fanfic and telling everybody about the multiple tragedies that prevented them from updating BUT after repeatedly being royally f-ed over by the clusterfuck of a year that 2026 has been so far (i was violently sick for an entire month, basically unable to leave my flat, with my doctor telling me that my poor health is just a side effect of being a woman (spoiler: it wasn't), sadly lost several people dear to my heart to illness in a short span of time, nearly died twice (0/10 can't recommend) and ALSO went through exam season - tl;dr: i am violently crashing out) i am back with a new code! honestly, i've really struggled with both starting and finishing a new code. i'm not really my usual creative and motivated self rn, but DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS (literal life saver fr, I could talk about Curse of Strahd for hours) gave me back some of my creativity and joy that I usually find in creating new things, sooooo... here we are! this code is, of course, another profile text, because I just love making profile texts. The design is pretty variable and can easily be changed to match your own preferences; you only need to switch out the two main colours in the root section and BOOM, whole new vibe! This code has six pages:

a detailed cover with space for your oc's name, a quote, a portrait, a small moodboard and three polaroids + captions!

about page with space for pictures, first impressions, the main info about your oc and funfacts

personality page with some space to write about your oc, display their likes and dislikes in a nice little system that I came up with AND show their personality with some cutesy graphs

appearance page which displays your oc's closet and features while also still matching the polaroid theme

whole 'nother page just for vibes

a pretty detailed (or less detailed - whatever you prefer) page for relationships! i've added different snippets for the relationships, one version has three subpages with a text about the relation, a dynamic visualization and a moodboard, while the simpler one only has the text

ngl, pretty proud of myself, i think the code turned out really nice and i tried some new stuff! big shoutout to my both wox AND rl bestie for listening to me yap about this code and all of the new functions and designs i've come up with even though we were originally going out to get drinks and gossip ily girl

I finally managed to sit down and create something again - a few wallposts that honestly ended up being a bit of an escape for me. Life’s been… a lot lately. I just finished my training as a software developer, but finding a job right now feels almost impossible. The whole industry is shifting so fast, and somehow it feels like there’s no space for beginners anymore.

But well… it is what it is, right?

Instead, I poured all of that into something creative again. And I actually missed this feeling more than I expected.

So ... I made two matching wallposts for you: “Crimson Nocturne” and “Golden Nocturne” (yes… don’t judge the names, I KNOW they’re a little dramatic 😭)

They’re kind of like sisters lol same vibe, different mood.

Here's to all those weirdo layouts I am absolutely in love with. I'm back with a brand-new wallpost, and wouldn't ya know it, I'm obsessed. It's heavily inspired by a Carrd design I found on Pinterest, although I have added my own touches and edits.

As usual, WoX wallposts are supremely finnicky, so against my wishes, I must advise not to play around with the layout and code unless you know exactly what you're doing. The code is commented throughout, and I've also included instructions on how to easily change the colour scheme of the wallpost.

Please don't steal my credits, but go ahead an add your own! I would also love to see any versions anyone makes!

I honestly can't remember the exact May Disasters in the years since 2023 but there seems to be a pattern with big bad things happening in May as I recall joking about it year after year. If I had the time and the brainspace I'd look it up but for now you'll have to do with a very vague "several years in a row, big bad things happened in May".

This year the drama is on World of Supernatural. The site leaders were fired for reasons I'm not sure of, multiple members of staff quit in solidarity and now the site is closing on May 31 because for some reason, no one wanted to step up and take over the leadership after the previous leaders were fired and multiple staff members left with them. There are definitely some similarities with the Great Firing in May 2023, albeit on a smaller scale.

Another sus thing that's going on is that some sites that were closed down in the last 5 years have suddenly made posts on social media that they're looking for people to revive the sites. Which sounds like a good thing, at least at first glance, but if you scratch the surface you'll find a long list of questions, uncertainty and doubt. The sites closed because they failed, and the reasons for the failures are many and complex. It's not just the site leaders and their management that is to blame for a site's failure (sometimes they are not to blame at all), it's also on the mugwump in charge of supporting the site.

Unless all of those factors of failure has been addressed and solved, reopening the sites will just lead to another failure and closing. And the closing of World of Supernaturals indicates that the upper management (mugwumps & site owner) still hasn't quite figured out how to keep the smaller sites alive and afloat, much less safe and thriving.
