wait re tags on my previous post i actually dont need to create a 00Q cold war au from scratch i can just do an au of the alternate backstory i made up for him that was a love letter to all the tragic dark backstories people used to make up because its that he was in an ambiguous terrorist group which fits present day bond films so i can just change it to that he was a soviet agent instead. all my original characters involved translate pretty well i just change names and nationalities this is so huge for me right now

every so often i think that i should make a ranking of all the bond themes but then remember i for once just agree with everyone else and have nothing new to say. like yeah the best is live and let die followed by skyfall and nobody does it better. obviously. it's just true.

btw "for your eyes only" 1981 was honestly pretty great, i really enjoyed that bond movie. the soundtrack was incredible and the plot was surprisingly comprenhensible lol i liked it :) roger moore keeps getting better. now theres just two more movies w him in them and one more connery movie until we get to the late 80s/early 90s bond stuff. im a bit nervous. i dont know exactly what theyll change but i honestly love how the older bond films look and sound, so im not excited for any big changes... anyway the next roger moore movie is called "octopussy". Yes thats right . it is called octopussy

moonraker was very fucking funny. thats a good bond movie. it was way sillier and weirder than i had imagined and the villain was so memorable. the scifi angle was hilarious

my boy n i watched "the spy who loved me" last night n we think its probably the peak of roger moore. this is the first time we have felt like he is delivering any good tangible emotions and empathy at all. the plot was super super fun but i really wish the villain had more screentime and talked abt his evil plans more, his entire motivation was kind of left unsaid....he implies it but doesnt get a good evil speech. curt jurgens is a fantastic actor tho i loved his performance!!! and barbara bach was phenomenal, i loved her so much, all of her little soviet asides were so funny and good. the soundtrack was CRAZYYYY and i like that the evil henchman didnt die. overall really solid! i wasnt disappointed and there wasnt anything TOO outrageously racist in the film this time lmaooo
